If you want a clean, comfortable ride to/from the airport, call 901-690-7079. James was our courteous driver who arrived early and drove us expediently from the Peabody Hotel in Memphis to the airport. Price was $35 with luggage. Beautiful car and service with a smile. Would NOT recommend. Scheduled a car for my daughter to catch a 6 am flight. Confirmed the night before. Car supposed to pick her up at 4 am and they called AT 4:05 am and said they had car trouble and wouldn't be there for at least an hour. Seriously? I am pretty sure you could have figured out 20-30 minutes BEFORE that the car didn't work. Very disappointed.

I scheduled an appointment for pick up at the Memphis airport in advance. Get off our plane, looking all over for the car. Called the service and the guy I had talked to weeks ago when I scheduled the pick up acted surprised he was supposed to be at the airport to pick us up. In his favor, James did then come and get us. And he was a very, very nice man. But he drove way too fast and didnt wear a mask. I could see spittle flying out of his mouth every time he spoke. In this pandemic age, not something you really want to see.

Called the number to schedule an early morning ride to the airport after realizing how sparse Ubers and Lyfts are right now. I was asked to text my details to the phone number, didn't receive a reply until four hours later saying they wouldn't be able to accommodate me which was okay (though the response time was unacceptable) Since they wouldn't be able to pick me up until 5AM for a 6AM flight, I started calling around (at 10PM 😑) and accidentally called the service while trying to arrange transportation. I called A VIP Car and Taxi Service, as a last resort for transportation to an urgent need medical appointment (wanting to avoid calling an ambulance). I was in too much pain to drive myself and had spent hours trying to use other ride share apps and taxi services to get to the Doctor's office. When the man answered the phone, he didn't identify himself as representing any kind of business. He just said, "Hey." A VIP Car Service saved the day! My flight arrived at 11:59pm at Memphis Airport. We tried getting an Uber and Lyft but to no avail. I tried calling several taxi companies but none were available except the very nice gentleman at A VIP. We were basically stranded at Memphis Airport at
12:30am and we were the only ones left in the airport! My driver arrived within 15 min of calling. Would definitely recommend!! Thank you!!!!!

This is a Covid era review. Covid safety measures were adhered to well (mask, sanitization). This was an early morning ride to Memphis International Airport. The car was a well maintained town car. The driver was courteous and friendly but not over talkative. He also arrived early and waited patiently. Drive was comfortable and I arrived at the airport ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend this service.

I confirmed my trip to the airport the day before my flight. A kind gentleman showed up at my door at 3:30 AM sharp. James came in an immaculately clean car and was extremely professional and courteous. He loaded my bags into the car. It was a smooth ride to the airport, during which time we easily conversed. When I come this way next I will definitely hire this company again!

After calling two other cab companies in Memphis for a 4 am ride to the airport and not feeling comfortable with the people I was talking to, I saw Avip on yelp and the 5-star ratings they had gotten. So I called them. I talked to Jilly and he remembered the address from a prior pick-up (it was a vrbo downtown) and sounded professional and trustworthy. I felt that I could trust them to be there at 4 am. The driver was early and the vehicle was new and clean. I would use them again without question! Great job Jilly!

Jilly was absolute perfection. I wanted to surprise my parents with a night out for my father's birthday and I wanted to have a car service transport them to and from dinner. I called Jilly and not only did he take the job with a one hour notice, he delivered superior service at the best rate! Absolutely incredible service! We needed a 4:30am pick up for 4 including two toddlers and car seats to install. AVIP arrived early dealt with all the bags and was super nice even given the ungodly hour. It took longer than we anticipated to get car seats in and were pushed for time. However without a blink our car got quickly and safely to the airport arriving right on the scheduled time. We will ALWAYS call on AVIP whenever we are in Memphis. Can not recommend more highly. Thank you!!!

Wow! Tim's review below was horrifying... But perhaps more troubling is that he entirely blames the taxi company for losing $1500... With the proper attitude, I've gotten such fees virtually waved, and I'm positive the taxi company would be more apologetic if approached non-aggressively.
