I've worked through Gem Care in the past. I guess at the Lnixvulle location they've had the last few weeks off. No one answers phones. No one responds to the countless messages I've left. I hope there is new management soon. In my case. I've decided to make another temp service money.

I have worked for gem care for almost a year. And I have to say that the support i have had from my boss Kim Williams, is truly outstanding. She is there anytime you need help with anything. Always checking on the employees. Also working hard with the company to make sure that you are in a comfortable environment and striving to do your best. By far the best temp company I have ever worked for!!

When I first started with aisin in Clinton I went to apply directly to the company. They sent me through gemcare. During my time there I had jury duty and was falling asleep while standing because I was running off of 4 hours of sleep from jury duty. My ex was working there too and I brought up the issue that he was harrasing me and bad mouthing me at work. They did nothing to stop him even though he was employed through them aswell. I ended up pointing out because I had to take a day or two off to get away from him. When I left a friend was borrowing my car to get to aisin and my ex threatened

WOW!!! What a great Company to have when you are in need of a job. With the times today and Big Companies only hiring through staffing companies, THIS staffing company GEM Care is the one you need to go see and get a job.
The staff at GEM Care is really professional but at the same time care about their employees and make sure "You are i the know" of everything down to coming on-site to make sure you arrived and greet you with any questions you may have the first day. This company is COMPANY is great!

When I initially started at Gem Care as a sourcing specialist I wasn't sure if it was something that was going to be a good fit for me long term. Now that I am here, I love the work I do and the people I work with. Leadership is competent, the opportunity for growth is significant and the pay is competitive. Hopefully, Gem Care keeps up the good work. I certainly plan on it!

The company was helpful at first, but my mother passed away Feb. 14th they expected me to work not only the day of her funeral but also a few days prior even after I informed them of my mother's passing. I even brought in her obituary to the job I was assigned by fam care.
Since then I've asked for a separation notice multiple times and have been given the run around about the paperwork. I am now in jeopardy of losing my housing because they have refused to respond to fax/calls about the separation notice I have requested numerous times now.

I originally applied for a gravity cast position because I heard they get a swing shift. My recruiter told me that if I went full-time gemcare employee instead of letting AISIN hire me in she could put me in quality control and I'll start out a dollar more per hour and in a months time that the whole plant was switching to swing shift. She even called the plant to "confirm" this. After a month I realized that nobody was switching to swing shift except the position I originally applied for. I was also told in 90 days that I would get holiday pay, vacation time and start earning paid time off. As

I only give them 1 star just to be nice. Gem care along with every temp agency I worked for are EXPERTS at lying. It must be in the job description. All I know is anytime I have ever worked for them I have learned not to trust them. They tell you things but then when you go to the job site it's totally different. You are just a number to these temp agencies. Their goal is to get you into a position so they get paid. They just hope you stay. Thank the good Lord I have a job now that no stupid temp agency will be able to offer me what this company offers me. I'm full time and make over 30k a year

Don't ever work for this god-awful company. I still remember my experience with them right before last Christmas.
They promised me a decent full-time day job paying $10 / hr. 3 weeks out. With the little money I had, I held out and contacted them once a week just to make sure that things were still good.
Sure enough, I get a call the Friday afternoon before the Monday the job is supposed to start. I get a message saying the job was canceled. They told me they had a bunch of third shift jobs working at a factory that they could staff me on. Paying $9 / hr.
Who in their right mind would work 3rd
