A two nights stay here with a tour group. Very dated, but it's clean. Opened up the door to air out the room. Smells old and stuffy. Food at the restaurant is very blah. We were told that the tour groups is pretty much what keeps this place open since nowhere else can accommodate bigger groups.

They offer breakfast, but your groups residing here are shocked that they offer no other meals except those ordered by tour companies. Those companies typically order only one dinner over two days, leaving members of the tour group to walk here and yonder to find dinner. Those with mobility issues should avoid this motel. There are no explicit handicap accommodations. You beg them. Oh, Canada!

Seem a bit pricey for the harbor view room at first(all that was available at time of booking)Room is simple but clean, where it became a good deal was the complimentary breakfast buffet. Easily a $20 value per person excellent selection and preparation. Covered in storage for motorcycles, laundry facility and friendly staff.

Lauries House Restaurant offered good food at a very reasonable price. The landlubbers and Seafood sections of the menu include soup, salad bar, soft drinks, desert, and coffee for around $20-$22.

The decor was simple, yet nice. Some tables have views of the harbour. (Yes, in Canada, they spell it harbour.) The staff was attentitive, and friendly.

The soup was a home made chicken, with large chunks of chicken, fresh vegetables, and a broth that was properly seasoned.

The salad bar was very simple, but the ingredients were very fresh.

I ordered the scallop dinner. The scallops were fresh
