Partners David Murphy and Brenda Tormis saw the need for safe, dependable transportation of elderly, disabled and medically challenged people to and from medical locations in the Northern Bay Area. Murphy Medical Transport began operating with one transport van and one client in Fairfield, CA. It now serves the communities in Solano, Napa, San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties.
Murphy Medical Transport provides wheelchair, ambulatory and gurney transports for individuals without need for medical intervention to you and your family or group in Northern California. Murphy Medical Transport utilizes cutting edge technology to insure on time pick-ups from anywhere you are. All our vehicles are equipped with GPS and are tracked by satellite to pinpoint their exact location.
Murphy Medical Transport does everything else. We provide a worry-free transport for you so that you can concentrate on other important matters. After passing a background check and drug screening, our Client Advocate Drivers receive a two week orientation with one of our managers. They are trained in methods for safely lifting and moving patients, as well as in deep cleaning and disinfecting procedures.

Provides safe transportation with professional and compassionate, non-emergency care to our customers. May assist to coordinate, instruct, evaluate or supervise the work of new employees or other part-time personnel, as assigned. Reports to assigned shifts in proper uniform on time and remains on-duty and in proper uniform until the shift has officially ended.

The driver was very caring and compassionate, on time and went out of his way to help. However the office personal (Tiffany) called me 4 times in a 2 day span regarding payment. She invoiced me through email and the following day after getting my mother settled (who is bedridden) mailed a check for the full amount. I felt a bit harassed and not trusted, perhaps they should collect payment prior to services. So unprofessional of her.
