Being family owned ensures that the standard of child care provided to your child is the same given to each of our three children that attend this daycare. We understand the emotions associated with deciding who to entrust with your child. After five years at another daycare in Edmond, our family's world was turned upside down when that facility closed.

Thus began an adventure in 2020 of buying One Step at a Time, a daycare established in 1998. We then assembled a team of experienced caregivers that we personally know and trust. Our philosophy is to provide a caring and loving environment for your child with faith based morals and values that build a young mind and heart.

This is an excellent daycare! The staff are attentive, professional, and take great care of the children. I like that they have video monitoring in each of the rooms, a safety feature that is so important! We moved our child from one of the local “big named” daycare and I can attest the One Step at a Time is infinitely better. I highly recommend this facility, you will not be disappointed!

The staff at this facility is amazing! We have a long history with some of them and completely trust them with our kids. They get fed nutritious homemade meals (thanks Mrs Sonja!) that the kiddos love and are well taken care of in a clean, safe environment. There's no one else we'd rather send our kids!

This place is not that good. We took our 1 year old there. He was hit and bitten by other kids. He learned those habits too and started hitting and biting. The workers, with the exception of one, were always on their phones. When he woke from his nap in the afternoon, they would let him watch Trolls the movie everyday. The worst thing, however, was that one of the workers in the one-year old room would constantly saturate the air with air freshener and once we caught her spraying those chemicals on the children and on their food. I was also upset that they moved my son too quickly from the one

We love One Step! Our son started in the infant room and moved along to each class. Everyone employed here cares about the children! My favorite item to share is that no matter my son's age, every teacher in any class knows his name! That is value, caring, and dedication to service! Thank you to everyone at One Step, we will continue to recommend you to all!

One Step at a Time Child Care is a family owned and operated center based on Christian values. The center is extremely clean and well run. They truly care about both the physical and emotional wellbeing of your children. They have security cameras in each room and they offer lots of different activities to help build young minds.

Your kids are your pride and joy. You do everything you can to protect and teach them in their younger years.
If you are going to be a daycare facility, you should be following and doing the same. This is YOUR facility and children is what keeps YOUR FACILITY open and operational.
Unfort. Reviews like the one your have turns parents away, immediately. But, some too dont care. We do care, so, with that being said: NO WE WILL NOT BE USING YOUR FACILITY. GOOD LUCK FOR THE FUTURE.

My son has been attending this daycare for 2 1/2 years since he was 11 months old. Honestly, this place is better than most daycares. It is clean and pretty organized and priced just a little above average. However, I have had many problems over the years. 1 is high staff turnover. Some of the teachers have been there a long time and others I never even learn their names before they are gone. 2 Many times my son came home with diapers/pullups on backwards and his shoes on the wrong feet. 3 If you as a parent don't follow their rules- bring extra clothes, only pull ups with velcro allowed, no breakfast
