For 56 years, Hanks Heating has been the place to go in Detroit Lakes for personal service, furnace repair, and installation of new furnaces. In the beginning, Hank installed and serviced furnaces from his home. Since then, we have grown to provide service in a variety of other areas including plumbing, radiant floor heating, duct cleaning, air conditioning, and heat pumps, just to name a few.

We are a privately owned company founded in 1962. We started in heating installation and evolved into a full-service plumbing and heating company with expertise across all relevant disciplines. Today we successfully do projects from small additions to large commercial buildings. Our work force is well experienced people that take pride in their work and are willing to put extra effort to get the job done on time and budget.

Came out and replaced our heat pump and coil. Let him know the parts would be at our place at 1 pm. Showed up and installed at 1 pm. Professional and very friendly. Had us up and running in about 3 hours. Highly recommend. Even did our warranty registration with Goodman that wasn't done right when we had our original heat pump installed by a different company.

My old furnace broke down and required some pretty major repairs, which were expertly completed by Rob Anderson. ,He displayed an incredible level of knowledge, professionalism, competence, and genuine caring about my " situation "- running space heaters in freezing temps until furnace repair/parts completed. He even offered to bring me a few more heaters, just a genuinely nice man. I thankyou from the very bottom of my,now, very warm heart! God Bless You for your kindness! I WOULD GIVE YOU 100 STARS!
