Services
To cultivate a community of families and teachers working together to provide a high quality, safe, stimulating, and positive environment. Our curriculum enhances and fosters the physical, emotional, cognitive, creative, and social development of individual children through play-based learning and discovery.
At Oak Grove School, parental involvement is highly valued and is an integral part of education and school management. Parents can get involved through various volunteer activities throughout the year. We are now offering a volunteer incentive program for families. Each family can receive a credit to their account for volunteering their time/ goods to the school.
OGS is based on the belief that children are naturally adept learners, and when given the materials, guidance, time, and opportunity, they will choose to learn joyfully and spontaneously. Children are individuals, and learn differently from each other, at their own pace and in their own way. Children learn best in a safe environment, free from fear of failure, and when they are physically and emotionally comfortable.
I'm so excited to start my new adventure! Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a momma, military spouse, and former small business owner. We just moved to the area after living in Germany for over 3 wonderful years. I owned a small bakery while we lived abroad, and had the time of my life traveling and trying new foods.
We provide a creative and individualized learning environment with professional instruction for children ages 2.5 to 6 years old during the school year and summer. All children are required to be potty-trained to be enrolled at Oak Grove School. Enrollment is open throughout the year including summer time as long as there is an opening.
