Hello, my name is Cory Bettinghouse and I am the owner and operator of Cory's Lawn Service. I have been in the lawn care business since 2006 and have provided professional lawn care in the Reno and Sparks area. We are committed to quick communication, excellent work, and 100% customer satisfaction.
I am a husband, father, and graduate of the University of Nevada with a degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration. I have used my college experience and education to provide excellent service for each of my customers.

Our team of local experts offer residential lawn mowing, licensed fertilizer & weed control services, yard cleanup and pruning, licensed sprinkler repairs services, lawn aeration and dethatching, and snow removal (for Somersett and Sierra Canyon Communities). Our clients have access to their own online client portal where you can view your services, set up a debit or credit card, and set up autopay so you never miss an invoice or payment.

When my husband could no longer care for our yards, we hired Cory's Landscaping to mow, fertilize, help with the sprinkler repair and, just recently, added pruning to our needs. Everything is done professionally. They come when they say they will and the landscapers are curious and caring. Nicole in the office is efficient and thoughtful. We highly recommend Cory's.

My yard doesn't take much, but they do a good job. The office staff is wonderful, and makes communication easy. Especially appreciate the snow removal. They have a 3-tier price structure depending on timing for when they come to clear snow. Vary fair feature. Wish that had been available in Truckee when we lived there years ago.

Don't even look anywhere else. They have been taking care of my property for the last year. They do a remarkable job. The administrative staff is always prompt to return emails or calls. They are so reliable! When they say they are coming, they are really coming. I wish all contractors were like that! They were able to get a fall clean up scheduled in such a tight time frame for me.

My yard looks BEAUTIFUL!!!! I had so many pine needles I just couldn't do it alone. The team showed up around 3:30 in the afternoon, it took them about an hour and my front yard is wonderful to look at! They even went so far as to clear off my front porch and side of the house!!! The guys were so friendly and courteous. I will be calling them every fall/spring for my yard cleanup!!! I highly recommend them!!!!

At first I was impressed with their efficiency (much of it done online) but they flaked out on our scheduled appointment to turn on my drip irrigation. They didn't call, they just sent a new appointment email later that night for a new appointment the following Wednesday. This was after I had been very clear with them when making the first appointment that I was leaving town for two weeks and I didn't want my plants to die while I was going to be away. I certainly wasn't going to leave the garage open for four days after I left town so I canceled the 2nd appointment and hastily recruited

We hired this company last year for aeration on our front and back lawn. Last year, they broke FIVE sprinkler heads so we were NOT going to use them this year. This year however, in March, they came unannounced while we were out and did another service. When we called, they told us that we had been placed on an, "annual service plan," WITHOUT our consent. After turning on our water, we found that this year they had broken THREE sprinkler heads. As if that wasn't enough, they TORE UP our front lawn. Nichole responded to me quickly when I requested long-term yard service and maintenance via Yelp. I loved that they didn't need to come out to my property to give me some quotes (I assumed they look up the property themselves) and that they emailed me their exact services and prices (quite reasonable). Their non-pressured, no-contract approach was perfect. I signed up for their service and I can't wait to see how it goes! Stay tuned? :D

I always wondered if we were considered "low priority" to any landscaping company since all we use them for is to turn our sprinklers on/off in the spring/fall and fix the occasional break in the system after the winter freeze.
We were also interested in trying a pre-emergent for the first time to cut back on weed growth and knew we should probably have our lawn aerated. We received postcard mailers from Cory's Lawn Service

Cory’s Lawn Service has been a godsend for us! We have two very young children and it’s been really hard to manage our yard. The crew at Cory’s are very professional, polite and most importantly-INSANELY hardworking! The two of them cleaned up our front and backyard in less than 5 hours - I couldn’t have even made a dent in that amount of time. I think they truly care about our property and would highly recommend them! We also use them for a weekly lawn service and they always show up when they say they are going to and do a great job. Cory's is great! We have a small patch of grass in our front yard and mowing it became enough of an inconvenience that we finally decided to outsource the job.
