All high risk media (hard drives, cell phones, flash drives, etc.) are searched for, physically destroyed at our office with a 20 ton machine press and then transported to our downstream where it is all shredded with like metals to be recycled into usable metals for resale.

Services
We, my husband myself and our small crew of family, recycle all technologies and metals. By recycling I mean that we advocate reducing waste first. Then we recycle via re-use and/or re-manufacturing and donating or re-selling at reduced prices for those less fortunate. Finally, if the product is completely unusable, we break it down to board level and transport to the appropriate local refineries.
We are located just south of 14th on the west side of Rockwell. You will see a sign for computer repair with an arrow pointing in our direction from the street in front of the Masonic Lodge (1425 Rockwell) which is across from a new storage unit facility. We are in a the brick office building in the parking lot behind the Masonic lodge.
Our very first community effort was in the form of a donation of used computers to a community out reach in South Oklahoma City in the spring of 2006. We donated twenty-five used, ready to use computers to a local youth outreach program. The program was designed to help 'at risk' children and young adults.
NOTE: Recently we received a great request from a Home Economics teacher. She told us she uses our site regularly in her classroom along with another site that she thought we might like to have a link for on our site. She was right. We very much appreciate the input, the thoughtfulness and great idea!

Many years on, and I had numerous old hard drives, keyboards, monitors, and all that stuff that no longer works, and can't just be thrown away. I looked these folks up, and they took it all. They do destroy the hard drives satisfactorily. Friendly people. They carried everything from my truck to their building. Next time I have computer/electronics to recycle, that's where I'll go.

Excellent, very friendly service! Before we found AfterTech, we did not know what to do with old computers and electronics and such because we know they should not go in the garbage. These people there are very knowledgeable about environmental issues and do a great job! Thank you!.
And by the way, they DID wear masks when they helped me unload my heavy printers from my car a few days ago. I've been there several times in the last few months since Covid ensured I had extra time to clean out my closets etc. They wore masks EVERY time I was there.

After reviewing their website and saw that they appeared to be a concerned company with this statement posted: "Temporary COVID 19 Service Changes implemented for the safety of everyone." They stated they have a drop box and I figured I could just drive up and place the 2 old lap-top computers I wanted recycled in the drop-box and leave without having contact with anyone. Well, the minute I drove up I was immediately approached by two individuals working outside and neither one of them had masks on!! I had my mask on and I guess it would have been okay if they had masks on too, but they didn't

They were very professional. Pick up from our facilities was easily arranged and accomplished with little effort on our part.
They were excellent in working with us to provide the proper and sufficient computers for our school typing lab.
Overall an excellent company to deal with and a good feeling of returning electronics not to a landwaste facility but to get properly recycled.
