I would highly recommend Gus and his crew. They helped me with a long distance move, providing warehouse space for deliveries while I wasn't there. Then they went out of their way to deliver my items on a Sunday, when they don't usually work. Showed up smiling & went the extra mile to help unload and set up all my furniture. Super great!! Very nice to work with a small kind and caring business.

I recently ordered a Murphy cabinet from Z Modern Furniture, purchased it over the phone, directly from Gus. He was able to get it delivered the next day. Unfortunately, it was damaged and did not close properly. I contacted Gus, he was very professional, and asked that I send some pictures of the damage. After receiving the pictures, he scheduled delivery of a new unit, and had his delivery staff verify that unit was 100% before they left. Top notch customer service, will shop again from Z & Gus!

Gus was incredible to work with from the beginning of the project and throughout the entire project to completion. We are designers based in Toronto, Canada and it was crucial that we had someone who was highly organized and detailed especially as we were working from out of town, making the logistics a bit more complicated. We shipped and stored furniture for a complete home (roughly 9,000 sq feet) with Z-Furniture Warehouse for probably just over a year. My son was moving to DC for his first job out of college. Any furniture he had in his apartment in Chicago was trashed, he needed a one bedroom apartment's worth of furniture for his new place. We're in Maine, not only did there seem little sense in buying furniture and moving it down but thanks to Covid, all the stores were closed. We decided to order everything from Wayfair (big mistake) and have it shipped to a receiver in DC. We received a delivery of office furniture today. Our office is on the second floor of a walkup building. Your three men were EXCELLENT in their service -- very courteous, taking extra care in carrying up the pieces and carefully setting them down in order to avoid nicking or scratching the pieces. I cannot say enough good things about these fine young men. I even asked for business cards for any future referrals! Please recognize them for their hard work.

1. You order two pieces of furniture and are told it will be delivered within two weeks and they charge your credit card for the whole amount.
2. One piece arrives within two weeks and you are told other piece will be arriving soon. Then you wait couple of months for this other piece to arrive and they never update you as to what is happening. Finally you realize that it has been a long time you better follow up with what is happening and you are told " oh our manufacturer

Lots of luck to you if you order anything from them. Horrible customer service. Bought 2 of the same sofas from them and one of them broke less than 8 months after purchase. Sent multiple emails to Gus (owner) and called daily for a month and he has never once gotten back to me. When I finally did get him on the phone he refused to help -said there was nothing he could do because they do not offer any warranties on the items. He said the warranties come thru the manufacturers and they weren't doing anything either.

My husband and I were on a mission for new dining room chairs. We were referred by another store on the street that Z Modern Furniture would have what we were looking for. The minute we walked in we saw the perfect contemporary chair and in five minutes the order was placed. Ghassan was very helpful. Our chairs arrived yesterday, one week later, and we love them. My sales experience with Z: Excellent. I came in person after finding them online and boy am I glad I did. I ended up going in a different direction based on what I saw in the showroom (extremely low to the ground Japanese bed was not right for me). I ordered an Amisco custom bed. The (Canadian) bed took a bit over a month to be delivered but well worth the wait. I have shopped at a variety of places - Roche, Restoration, Ikea.... and I can say that this bed is excellent. Excellent in store experience. We first met Kyle and were impressed with his professionalism and the sofas he directed us to. We went back several days later to order and were taken care of by the owner. We purchased 2 sofas and, as promised, they were delivered within 1 week.
