The Lodge at Headwaters in Boonville, NY is the ideal setting for celebrating weddings, an anniversary, graduation or other special events! Located just 30 minutes north of Utica, and 30 minutes south of Lowville, Headwaters has more than 15 acres of rolling fields, forests, and gardens. Adirondack charm with stately trees, pergolas, and views of the Black River Canal Lock welcome wedding guests to a "day and stay" in the country.
Even Though We Are Proud of Our Accomplishments, Please Take Someone Else's Opinion into Consideration. We have driven by this hotel for years but never had a reason to stop. The grounds and building are immaculate, as is the inside. The room we had, a double queen, is large and comfortable. The bed and pillows are very nice.

We last minute decided to call and book a room for one night. The staff was amazing from the very first phone call, all the way to providing us with extra towels. The most friendly and welcoming place we have stayed in a while. Breakfast was AMAZING. The French toast was the best we’ve ever had. 100% would stay here again. Clean rooms, and comfortable beds.

It's definitely a lot nicer since the renovation, room was nice, bed was comfortable, WiFi worked well, host even brought us a bottle of champagne as it had been our wedding day a few days prior, which was extremely nice!! Would definitely recommend staying even if just for the night on your way thru town, or for a extended stay if here is your destination, with the upcoming fair it's not a bad thought!!

Lovely rooms and friendly staff make this a great place to stay when we visit family in the area. They offer a great breakfast and have wifi. The bathrooms are a bit tight to bathe small children but fine for adults. The lobby is a welcoming and comfortable place to hang out and enjoy a coffee. My kids especially enjoy the board games and puzzles they keep stocked there. Overall a great place to stop over for a weekend or longer with great staff who are friendly, accommodating, and helpful.
