We are return customers who bought our second fifth wheel from Charlie Obaugh RV on Dec. 18, 2021. As usual, it was a great experience from start to finish. Our salesperson, JW Humphries, is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and experienced. He doesn't just sell RVs - he knows RVs. The finance agent, Charles, had us in and out in minutes. We can't say enough good things about the service department - shout out to Sean in Service. No wonder people come from miles away to buy from this dealership. Great dealership went above and beyond for me .. broke down on Route 11 in Greenville VA .. they came right out to help got my truck back to the dealership I pick it up tomorrow morning.. .. Cliff the service manager was wonderful.. if you break down near Greenville Va give this dealership a call.. they will help you out.. I came from Pennsylvania.. sitting on the side of the road..they came right out and help me..

I need to give a huge shoutout to Charlie Obaugh Chevrolet in Staunton. They went above and beyond to help Tyler and I on Friday. We were traveling to Pennsylvania for a wrestling dual and on our way up i81 my brakes went. I did my best to not panic and scare Ty and just got off the highway and called Jeffrey Cobb. He looked it up and found the… service center and it was only about a mile from where I was. I was terrified to drive the car again but got there safe. When we arrived, Jeff had already called them and let them know what was going on. They immediately got the car in and called

My husband and I just bought a new Traverse from here and are so pleased! Chris Jones is amazing and VERY knowledgeable. We started looking back in May and from May to June the price increased and Chris literally did everything he could to get us back where we needed to be. He was so much fun to work with and aside from all the work he had to do, we never felt as if we were a bother! My husband and I truly appreciate everything Chris did for us.

I will quickly start going back 5 years to another disaster with the same dealership (at their other location in Waynesboro) over the same vehicle.

The truck was brought in and dropped off for them to review a transmission issue. They were horrible about making calls to let me know they had even looked at the truck, and I kept having to call. I don't like to hound people, so days would go by, and eventually, because I didn't stay on top of them, they had the truck for 7 weeks! (It still has the same problem to this day)

Furious, I called the owner personally, and explained the issue

I cannot emphasize the level of service by Cliff Clements and Heather Weaver. Our car was damaged and in need of repair. I contacted Mr. Clements who was extremely friendly and helpful. Due to the circumstances I had to call back several times and he was patient and understanding. The service team “went all out” to assist me. Ms, Heather Weaver… is our coordinator and she too exemplified truly awesome customer service. She was friendly and understanding. Both Mr. Clements and Ms. Weaver kept checking to see if I needed anything or assistance. Truly amazing people! I would not

I experienced a throttle body failure on interstate 64 and had my vehicle towed to their facility. Heather, my service advisor, did a fabulous job of staying in communication with me. Her professionalism helped me understand the process which eased my anxiety about my vehicle being 3 hours away with people I had never met. My husband called today having problems with his truck and spoke with Cliff Clements about what was going on. He brought his truck into Obaugh today and was very impressed with how Cliff went above and beyond to get his truck fixed for him. Have had to make emergency repairs twice now when passing through. Pulling a fifth wheel they had room to park and disconnect. We were in and out in less than 2 hours.

While the wait for my oil change and inspection was long (almost 2 hours), the waiting area was clean and comfortable. The amenities were nice too (water, coffee, snacks). My vehicle looked great with the complimentary car wash and vacuum!
I also appreciate the Saturday morning hours--it was most convenient for my schedule.

Took my 2012 Suburban in for new brake pads on July 28. They said it would be $300 which I unfortunately assumed was competitive. Two days later I get the vehicle back and a bill for $400 (The $300 was just for brakes, not labor). All I needed was brake pads (I know this because I was at another dealership out of town getting an oil change and they told me.) I called around to some other brake dealers and was routinely quoted between $150 (Eavers in Fishersville) and $250 for parts and labor. Should I have done my homework beforehand on pricing between businesses? Yes. Do I want to deal with

After 45 years of getting service performed by GM dealers, this is the worst service I have ever received!
This is the first service I have had performed at this dealer. Dealer was contacted early Monday morning, to replace broken GM coolant hose, and re install the belt that came off. We wanted to determine if they could perform repairs immediately, since the breakdown occurred 800 miles from home. Service department agreed that they could do the repairs immediately.
Day 1: reported that bad parts were not GM parts. (Turns out one part wasn't bad, and the other was a GM part).

Bought my Kia Soul with them in March 2012. Nice people, painless experience. Have had equally painless service with the service and parts departments. Would definitely recommend to others.
