I am Celeste Murphy Kreutzer, Licensed Massage Therapist #2082 in Iuka, Mississippi. I have always been interested in helping people relieve their pain. As a longtime sufferer of whiplash and other problems that created back pain, I often wondered if there could be a better way to get relief, even long-term relief for conditions that most people decide to "deal with".
Could that accident or surgery you had years ago be affecting your health issues now? More than likely.

Trauma, surgery, & inflammatory responses create Myofascial restrictions that can produce tension pressure of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures in your body (this would be equivalent to an elephant standing tip toe on some part of your body) that do not show up in many of the standard tests (x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography, etc.)
What is Myofascial Release (MFR)? MFR is a holistic, whole body, manual therapy approach to healing. Hands on techniques are used to lengthen the fascial restrictions. Gentle, yet firm pressure is applied into the area of restriction and held for an extended period of time to allow the fascia to release.
Stress Relief - Massage is known to alleviate anxiety and improve relaxation, reducing bad temper and jangled nerves. Anxiety and Depression Management - Massage greatly reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol, resulting in lifted spirits and often lower blood pressure; it can also boost the neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine, further improving outlook and mood.
The right answer differs from client to client. How often you get a massage depends on many factors: Your general health, the reason for getting a massage, how you felt after your last treatment, your time, and your budget. That being said, here are 3 common lifestyle situations and the recommendations for getting you to a healthy level of comfort.
