Friends of Jesus Preschool, located in Zion Lutheran Church since 1978, has been providing a nurturing environment where children feel safe to learn and grow. We seek to understand and grow with each family that sends their student to FOJ. Our class sizes are small to help us give quality time to students and families.
We have had fun family events such as Fall Fest and Bug Blastoff. We are also supported by a loving congregation of believers in Christ, and part of the larger community of Kalamazoo. Friends of Jesus Preschool is a Christ-centered preschool. Each student is a unique child of God, which we reinforce through chapel, Bible stories, prayers, and songs.

Services
Our three-year-old classroom provides opportunities for your child to play and learn with others in a structured environment with both student-led and teacher-led activities. This classroom fosters growth in fine-motor skills, learning to share, playing with others, recognizing emotions, singing songs, and listening to Bible stories.

Love, love, love this preschool! Each child is uniquly cared for! I love their commitment to teaching kids that they are loved by God. There space is amazing indoors and outdoors. Beautifully designed with lots of space to play. Classes are small and they go outside everyday unless it's stormy or extremely cold. We have had four kids at this school over the last 7 years! A+.
