Boulder City residents can drop off specific items considered as household hazardous waste. Boulder City residents may bring in household fluorescent light bulbs for recycling free of charge. The average American generates 4.4 pounds of trash per day, adding to the grand total of about 254 million tons of trash the United States accumulates per year.
Doing your part to increase recycling, while diverting thousands of tons of waste from being buried in our landfill, has never been so easy. The industry term for no-sort recycling is "single-stream". Put in its' simplest terms, what used to be multiple "streams" of recyclables needed to be separated by the homeowner in advance of pick-up.
All homeowners can participate in the citywide B.C. Waste Free curbside recycling program. Each home will be provided with a 65-gallon, wheeled recycling bin (upon request, 32-gallon bins will be made available to those for whom the 65-gallon bin is too large).
Place ALL recyclable materials (see "What can I recycle?" for details) in the bin and wheel it to the curb any time after 6:00 p.m. the night before your scheduled recycling collection day and no later than 6:00 a.m. the morning of.For those residences requiring additional recycling bins, please email your inquiries to Contact@BCWasteFree.com or visit www.

Granted the waste/trash collection is a territory monopoly, but that should not be an excuse for poor customer service. The gentleman who answeres the phone for BC Disposal is unprofessional, rude, nor knowledgeable of accounting when attempting to close an account to due a sale of our business & property. Its unfortunate that many businesses are selling and closing in Boulder City & the awful customer services support from essential services like Boulder City Disposal are additional reasons why doing business in Boulder City is a challenge

We dumped all our waste and did not have to wait. I remember in Las Vegas years ago it was an ordeal to visit the "dump". There was always a wait in line followed by another wait. Fortunately we live in clean, green BC. We had to show our identification of course. Only residents can use this place free of charge. Glad I live in Boulder City for sure!

For years I have never had a problem with boulder disposal, now all of the sudden they do not pick my trash up because my cans are not 4' closer to the alley. They have always picked them up from the can corrals on the side of the garage.... literally 4' away from the alley. They said it's a new policy and they couldn't see them there... The office told me last week it was a new driver. Even after I showed him where the corral was for the cans he still told me they need to be on the edge of the alley.... Well all I can say is when my cans start coming up missing, I will bill them back to boulder
