We have a 24 hour, physician staffed stand by emergency room and ambulance service. The goal of emergency care is to stabilize patients and help them through the initial phase of their illness or injury. Our highly trained ambulance crews are able to apply clinical interventions and the urgent treatment necessary when a patient is experiencing a life threatening emergency.

EPHC'S Primary Care physicians play an essential role in helping you get healthy and stay healthy. Provides vital, low cost preventive care and education so that you can be an active partner in your personal health care decisions. Provides preventive and diagnostic tests and screenings (including imaging and laboratory testing).

Eastern Plumas Health Care provides paramedic-level emergency ambulance service to the city of Portola and surrounding areas of Plumas and Sierra Counties. Our 24 Hour Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulances offer extensive, urgent pre-hospital services to the critically ill or injured. We also provide non-emergency medical transport as well as stand by for sporting and other events.
