Body Pump is a simple, athletic based workout that strengthens, tones and defines every major muscle group in your body. Ideal for beginners right through to experienced exercisers. We've taken the dance out and put the muscle back into step.
All our classes offer a Smart Start, so if you are new, we only recommend that you do about 20-30 minutes of the class. The instructor will normally let new people know when they can leave. As you develop more endurance, you can add a track here and there and before you know it you will be able to hang on for the entire class.

Beware!! These ppl are shady and will bait you into a contract. They tell you about the 30 day out, but don't tell you that you're signing a 12 month contract with a finance company that pays them up front, and now you're on the hook with a finance company. You don't get a copy of anything you sign when you sign. Trust nothing, question everything. Best advice , go somewhere else.

I would like to add a new review of the New Bern tru fit gym to my history. I signed on with a new trainer, Danya, about 7 months ago. She had no prior information on my needs because my former trainer relocated. Danya quickly proved to me that she is very adaptable because in the first few sessions she was able to discern that I needed to improve my mobility and endurance. She constantly introduces new routines, strength tests and motions and then helps me increase my mastery of those areas. So, I was all ready to give the rebranded old Gold's Gym another try with a complimentary personal training/fitness evaluation. I had been a faithful member for years (back in 2016) and had a personal trainer (Steven) who was so-so. He spent our appointments listening to a morning radio show on his cell phone and was too worried about the show and chit-chatting and not about training me so I moved on. Fast forward to today. I signed up for the free trial online on June 20 2019 and within about an hour, Antoine from TruFit called me to schedule my session with Shalina Thornley and soon after

Twice a year there is a $20 maintenance fee that they dont tell you about when you join. It automatically gets deducted from ur bank account. Also, if you need to cancel your membership, talking to a representative is not enough. You need to call some 3rd party service and they will ask you to send a cancellation request email to customer care. Also the 3rd party service asked me to pay $25 fee which I never was informed about while joining. BIG SCAM. I think i should just get a new credit card because who knows how many more charges will be applied without my concent

Horrible gym with horrible customer service.
I originally signed up when the gym was Golds Gym for the simple reason I travel a lot and would be able to go to the gym as I travel. The gym since changed to TruFit and I am still stuck with the membership but suddenly lose all my benefits I payed for with Gold Gym.
I also signed up for Personal Training and have not been receiving the services I've been paying for. I've almost paid for an entire year of training and have received maybe a month and a half worth. The gym refuses to 1: refund, 2: work with me, 3: actually contact me back.
