At 18, I was in Wildwood, New Jersey, for a first time ever week long vacation with my high school buddy, Chris. On Day 2, while body surfing, I whipped my head around to get the hair out of my eyes, (not a problem now) and my neck locked up. I knew my vacation was shot until Chris said, "Mike here is a Chiropractor, he can help you"!
I had no idea what that meant, and the next minute, I found out. The adjustment melted the stiffness and pain immediately. Within that hour, I knew I had been called to be a Chiropractor. In 1982, I opened up my practice in Philadelphia. My adjusting technique was pretty traditional. Palpate the spine and introduce forces by hand to correct subluxations.

Services
Every experience you have ever had since you were conceived is recorded in your body. The sum total of all these events (stresses) has brought you to this present moment. We realize that you may be consulting us because your body is experiencing some "bad weather". Your health history helps us understand your "climate".
Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance provider. We may be able to provide you with some information which will be necessary to be reimbursed for the care you receive here. A rising tide raises all boats. Chiropractic is different. Rather than trying to "treat" a body part that is crying for help, we leave the healing to Mother Nature.
The overarching philosophy of this practice is that your body works better without nerve interference. Vertebral subluxation is the major cause of nerve interference; therefore, the focus of our practice. While the philosophy does not change, its technical application does. Dr. Rhodes has invested much time and effort in pursuing his natural interest in understanding the nonphysical aspects of subluxation.
VERTEBRAL SUBLUXATION is a chiropractic term used to describe a specific type of spinal injury with a wide range of damaging effects. Chiropractic is the world's only profession dedicated to the detection and correction of VERTEBRAL SUBLUXATION. There are five scientifically demonstrable components of the VERTEBRAL SUBLUXATION COMPLEX.

I went to Rhodes Chiropractic not necessarily as a last resort, but as another path to seek answers to my spinal health problems. I had been enduring chronic neck and upper back pain for the last nine years, if not longer. I am currently sixty-one years old. Note that I was never a fan of chiropractors and have always sought traditional medicine for relief of my symptoms. (It was made aware to me in my mid-fifties that I had mild scoliosis, however, that condition is not necessarily the main contributor to my upper back and neck pain as I experienced numerous falls and trauma throughout my athletic

If you have been thinking about trying chiropractic care, schedule your initial -no-obligation- assessment with him today! I have been seeing him for only a few months. But , already I have been thrilled with how much better I feel. I have a history of head and neck injuries which makes me kind of a complicated patient. He has been steadfast about identifying the root cause of my neck and body pain and equally intent about treating it. He also cares enough to answer all my questions and seem to really enjoy doing so. His approach definitely offers a unique way of treating neck pain because it addresses

If you are looking for a Chiropractor who is knowledgeable, professional and compassionate, please make an appointment with George Rhodes. I appreciate that he takes the time to know you and address your subluxations, this is not a practice where you are just 10 minutes in their schedule.
