Services
Our doctors and staff work together to ensure that each patient is getting the type of care that they need. After a thorough intake, your doctor will come up with an individualized plan which can include a combination of chiropractic, therapeutic massage, WellWave, nutritional supplements, and Kinesio Tape.
Your spine is made up of 24 bones that surround and protect the spinal cord. Every nerve in our body exits the spine at some level, allowing communication between the brain and the body. When any part of the spine moves out of place or becomes misaligned (known as subluxation), the nerves become compressed causing various symptoms such as pain, numbness, or illness, depending on which part of the vertebra is affected.
Chiropractic care is extremely safe and effective for pregnant mothers. Our doctors enjoy working with women during pregnancy so that they may enjoy a more comfortable pregnancy, as well as, labor and delivery. Re-establishes the natural position and mobility of joints. Here at HealthWise Family Chiropractic we strive to be family friendly! We work with patients of all ages. No matter their age, most benefit from chiropractic care. During birth our bodies are subjected to many spinal traumas. Even the most natural of births can cause stress and strain to the tiny developing spine.
We believe that chiropractic care should be affordable for everyone. While most major medical plans cover chiropractic care for acute episodes, they do not cover regular maintenance care, which is just as important! Kids need regular care too! Insurance is even more limited when it comes to what they will cover when it comes to kids.

Dr. Cohn and the staff have helped me through everything from back / neck pain to scheduling, insurance and continued care. I've been going to HealthWise for almost 2 years now. I had initially started going by using my insurance but then insurance wasn't going to cover visits anymore. I looked into the Vitality Plan and it's a "no-brainer" if you want regular, consistent chiropractic care. When you break down the cost per visit, it's even cheaper than my insurance co-pay! Going every other week is vital to my health. All my stress carries in my upper back, shoulders and neck causing headaches. By staying regular with my visits, I can keep them under control.
