Located approximately 8 miles west of Coleman, Hords Creek Lake is one of Texas' most pretty little lakes. The lake is surrounded by beautiful oak trees and offers many activities to all those who enjoy the outdoors. There is a park on each side of the lake, each providing roughly 60 campsites, all standard with water and electricity.

Called to rent a room for a few nights and the gentleman that answered the phone was extremely rude. Told him i needed to reserve a room for the 24 and 25 but wouldn't have the money to go ahead and pay for it tell the next day i was told to call back when u have money. I called on 09/09/21 so i was goinfg to book it way early and pay on the 10th in advance, so after his rude comment i told him id stay elsewhere. So id recommend staying somewhere else.

This place is "by far" the best accommodations outside of Abilene. The rooms are always immaculately clean, all services (tv, ice, coffee, fridge, etc.) work perfectly. The pool is crystal clear and clean. The owners are great people and they work their butt off to make the Coleman Inn the fine establishment that it is. I've stayed there about 75 times and I'm picky. It's a good place.
