Warfel Construction Co. Inc., was formed in 1972 by Allan Warfel as a residential contracting company operating in the Milford area. From that small start Warfel Construction has expanded into commercial and agricultural construction as well as land development. In 1973, Jay Schlabach joined Warfel Construction and took charge of the expansion into the agricultural construction field.
Today, Warfel is active in all phases of agricultural construction including poultry houses, animal waste structures and post frame buildings. By 1980, Warfel Construction operations had expanded from single family residences to include townhouses, churches and other types of commercial structures.
