As our name would imply, Black Diamond Networks is a company built on connections. In February of 1999, BDN started out as a Boston-area IT contract and direct-hire staffing company. The goal was to build the company by focusing on one client and one contractor at a time, providing both with the resources they needed to succeed.
During its first 5 years, the firm grew steadily through challenging economic times. In 2005, the company added an additional focus in the national market for contract Engineering resources. That soon became the largest segment of the company's services, and helped Black Diamond again forge ahead in the face of economic recession - this time the housing market collapse of 2008-2009.

Here's a tip.
Never give out your references to a third party Consulting company before you get a job offer. They are most likely stealing your references to be used as potential clients. There is not job offer available.
I was pretty much harassed by a recruiter to give out my current Manager's contact details even when I made clear I wasn't interested. Do not give your references to this organization.

I’ve been an employee here for BDN almost a year and have absolutely loved every aspect of this company. Coming out of college, I didn’t know what type of job atmosphere I would end up in initially. From my interview to my first day, I was treated like family and brought in with open arms. I truly love my job here! I have had the pleasure of working with Black Diamond for over 5 years. They are an outstanding group of professionals, that go that extra mile to help you obtain an assignment. I was contacted by a recruiter, Jonathan in Arizona, who found me on a Linked In search. His initial inquiry did not use my name or reflect that he had reviewed my profile carefully. I did not need the job, but had wanted to offer to address a short term need of his client. I responded twice. Both e mails were ignored. I would neither engage Black Diamond Networks myself, nor recommend them to others.

Black Diamond Networks advertises itself as operating with "honesty and integrity", however this is simply not the case. I was promised a referral bonus for providing them with an associate for hire and they simply refused to pay me.
I asked the recruiter up front about their policies and he explained that they will pay me out the bonus. However, when the time came to pay out the agency made up excuses that the colleague I referred to them was "already in their system".
