Russell Digristina is a farmer from Schuyler, NY who desired to have his own business. With a wife and children coming into his world he began his journey and ultimately created a successful restaurant business he is proud to stand behind today.
As a 1973 graduate of Whitesboro Senior High, and not enough ambition to go to college, Russell ventured out into the work world and landed a job as a machinist at Hamilton Digital (a digital head recording manufacturer in Utica, NY).After spending nine years with this company, he finally made his way back to the family farm to help his father with the family dairy and produce business.

I stopped by yesterday while passing through Rome. I was very impressed with the food, the kindness and patience of the waitress, the cleanliness and the overall atmosphere. I don't know if I'll be in the area again any time soon, but if you're looking for decent quality pizza, this is definitely worth a stop!

Not impressed tonite. I ordered lobster raviolis with salad and bread. I was very shocked when they brought the salad that looked like a salad mix with some tomatoes thrown on it, and we got skimped on bread and raviolis were soupy and mostly peppers and onions took up most of the plate. I was quite disgusted and felt bad for my boyfriend for paying for this.

Came in here today to have an Caesar salad and waited 20 minutes it finally came, the lettuce was so warm and soggy. It didn't taste fresh and I told the waitress to take it back and she clearly said she can't get me another one and she can not take it off the bill and I had to eat it. I was in awe of how a person can say that to an customer. I hope to not see her again... I have came to this place every time I am in Rome. Very nice staff and food is always great! But that waitress is the one that ruined my day, I dont know if she was having a bad day or what else, she should leave her

My husband & I were passing through town. We wanted a quick dinner we could eat in the car but did not feel like eating fast food. Called ahead & ordered a pizza with our usual toppings. It was great. We drive through Rome on our way to our camp. I am sure we will pick up pizza from this place again.

My son said when we are in Rome, we must eat pizza so we did. Found this place on yelp. Restaurant layout is a bit strange. You will understand once you eat there. The pizza was okay. Wasn't a big fan of the cheese. The waitress asked if we wanted American Cheese on our pizza??? WTH eats that? Service not that great. Restaurant was filthy and old. There are several stains on the ceiling. The area where the waitress had to get the drinks has no light so it is completely dark for her. I offered her a flashlight. I would suggest getting the pizza to go if you do eat here. Wasn't happy when

Decided to try the Tuscan White Bean soup while waiting for a Chicken Parm Sub sandwich. Very tasty with a thick consistency that included sausage and greens, perhaps spinach with two pieces of buttered garlic bread.
The Chicken Parm Sub was delicious, served on a wide bread loaf with some Italian seasonings on top. A sufficient amount of cheese with nice Marinara sauce.

We finally made it up to New York and I wanted to get an authentic New York style pizza somewhere. After checking into our bed and breakfast we did a quick Yelp! search and found Laroma's Pizza. We confirmed with our host that this was indeed a great place to get some pizza and so we headed on down to order a big pepperoni and cheese.
