Doc's Yardhouse is an Old Fashioned Smokehouse Barbecue Restaurant and Tap Bar in Nederland, Texas. Our indoor/outdoor restaurant is polished with an "Old School" culinary flare of Hickory Smoked Barbecue featuring beautifully handcrafted full-service bars in each location fashioned after the Brunswick Style Bars found across America in the 1800s.

At Doc's Yardhouse barbecue restaurant, we slow cook all our meat in our very own smoker each day served with a menu of delicious unique mouth-watering sides and desserts. Need more variety for non meat eaters, better salads would be great but everything else was awesome. The atmosphere and people were laid back and inviting. Very nice meal.

Wanted the smokehouse lollipops but they were out. Didn’t get bacon on burger. Smokehouse salad was mediocre. Chicken on the salad was good. First visit. Was disappointed.

I am so impressed with docs. The food is amazing , they offer so many cool new types of infused beverages. Tons of TVs for sports, if ur not into sports they have pool, and other fun games to participate in. … The menu is from smoke house bbq, To salads and donut burgers. You can go from Spice to something nice. I’m not sure what they are doing , but they need to keep it up!

Even though there’s some delicious food options on the menu, order their Mexican Pizza!! It’s no longer at Taco Bell, but Doc’s is PHENOMENAL… should totally be on their menu!!

Ordered food for pickup. Salad was missing several ingredients, was charged $3.50 for 1 tablespoon of chopped brisket, burger was missing jalapeños that we were charged for. Flavors were good, but the kitchen needs to get it together.

Can't complain about the food. Taste really good and they have a nice selection. My only gripe is the price vs portion. The wait staff was fantastic and our little group had a great time.
If the price was a little nicer I could see myself visiting frequently. But as it stands this is just a one-off visit.

Food was good but according to the waitress, she was the only one for the restaurant. They had 3 people behind the bar. Drinks from the bar were added to our dinner bill then we were told we still owed the bar.

We have been there before and it was great..... today it was below par for sure. My husband's brisket came out chopped first, they took it back , then brought out chopped and it wss not done and chewy. Uneditable. To ok k it back and the new sliced wasn't any better. Then all they did was took off 5.00 for the bad experience. Customer service is key in any experience. How hard would it have been to just comp his meal after not even replacing his food.completely. after all the issues.

The food is amazing! we had the Grilled Cheese Donut, Onion Rings and the Yard Fries. we added brisket to the sandwich and the fries. SOOO delicious.
I love the dining area..you don't feel crowded!
Our server, Polly, was friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

Went for the Fourth of July. Not many people, as most people head to the lakes or the beach. Service was prompt. Food took a while to come out, and appeared to have sat a while, as nothing was hot at all. Even at room temp, the food was tasty though. Relaxing atmosphere also.

Appetizer firecracker blacked shrimp was delicious. Hubby and I both ordered the lg platter so we could both have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Smoked Turkey moist and delicious. Pulled pork and brisket dry. Baked beans came out out cold

Atmosphere is great! Service is great! Food is great!!! And I love the fact that this place has great craft beer on tap. They have tarts, stouts, etc and not your typical boring franchise IPA’s, lagers, red ales, etc.

Omgoodness this restaurant is PERFECT…. The ambiance was epic, the drinks and food was on another level. I will come here every time I’m in town. Our waitress Robin was so professional, sweet, patient and accommodating, the friendliest person I hv ever encountered. WE will be back

Bloody mary was off the chain. Better than most other bars restaurants I've tried. Food was really tasty. First time in but definitely will be coming back!!

Food was very good and service was as well, granted I didn’t go at a busy time but the server was also very nice. The appetizer was the brisket quesadillas and they were very tasty, I also go the shrimp tacos and they were good just wish the shrimp were maybe a little smaller to be able to close the taco all the way. Everyone else also enjoyed their food. Will definitely be coming back!
