Allen Montessori Academy was established in 1982 and it was the first, original Montessori school in Allen, Texas. Our mission is to offer a warm, loving, high quality, year-round education to children 6 weeks to age 6 years old. We are a school that awakens children's imaginations to the limitless possibilities in life, and a community in which children and adults find friendships and support.

Services
Head of Parental Involvement, serving over 1500 parents as a volunteer/community officer since 2001. Ms. Tina has successfully completed the Early Childhood Management Training (Director's Credentials). She is a Certified Montessori Trained teacher from Birth-3 years by NAMC. Has a Bachelors in Science and a Masters in Genetics.
AMA not only offers an excellent Montessori education, but we have also carefully integrated circle time, books, music, art and yoga along with various experiences into a meaningful yearly theme. For example, as the school year starts, we focus on the child and his/hers immediate world and expand to give the child the greater picture of the universe and our solar system.
Our son has been with AMA for more than a year, and he has improved a lot, especially when he has the new teacher - Ms Celene Nova - he gets along really well with her. She has a great personality, with her experience and dedication, she knows how to manage a strong-character toddler like our son :.

AMA is a wonderful place for kids! They gave both of our children a wonderful start to education! It was the 4th, and by far the best, school our oldest attended and the only one for our youngest. Both are avid readers and strong speakers...they had my son reading chapter books by the time he was 5 years old! The teachers are all very caring and loving individuals who truly get to know the kids. Even after 'graduating' my oldest is always more than excited to go back and help out with the little ones on the days that her school has off! It is a wonderful family to be a part of.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. Both of my kids, my son since he was 4 months now almost 2 and my daughter from the age of 2-4 have been attending this academy and they have learned so many great things from the curriculum to their behavior etc. the staff are amazing, the teachers are wonderful and Mrs. Tina herself is a very sweet lady. I highly recommend this school for your children! 2 thumbs up!

My 5 year old just left for Kindergarten, this week was last one for her at AMA. She was here for 1.5 years since the very first week we moved to Texas.
Thank you for all you've done for her, and for all the love and patience.
I know she was in great hands, I know she loves her school, and I know it was the best possible place for her to grow.
Mrs Tehmina is God send educator and I was very lucky my kiddo got to grow and experience all the amazing things at AMA,

We have been taking our first baby to AMA since January when she was about 10 weeks old and have nothing but positive things to say about them. They love our daughter so much and I've never been worried leaving her because I know she is in great hands. We have had some things come up and AMA has been so flexible, understanding, and more than accommodating to us. I would highly recommend them!

My older daughter attended this school for 3 years and she has been doing great in elementary school. She loved her teachers, including Mrs. Tehmina, who is the current lead teacher for the primary level. My younger daughter now attends this school and they have been very patient with her. She is still adjusting and her teachers and caretakers there have done a really great job with her. She loves Ms. Armine.
The main reason I came back to AMA for my second daughter is because of their warmth and personal attention to each child who is there. Dasha is the director and she is extremely warm, caring

I was very scared/hesitant when it came time to put my only baby in school for the first time . But it ended up being the BEST decision we ever made. He is so ahead of his age group. AMA is a good school that really cares about their students. My son is in the toddler class and I could not ask for a better teacher than Ms Celene. He has learned so much from her and she has been amazing in helping him potty train and also being there for me through that training.

I love the school and love the overall family like atmosphere. Ms Tina(Owner) and Ms Dasha(Director) are always there for any concerns and questions. They both take extra efforts to make sure everything is smooth. The teachers are all amazing and have been with the school for a number of years. Overall, I love this school.

We recently moved to the area and couldn't be happier with this school. The leadership - Ms. Tina and Ms. Dasha are amazing individuals who truly care of the well-being of your child. They are hands-on leaders and every time I was there, I always see them walking around checking on the children and the classrooms. I am so grateful that my daughter has such a wonderful teacher like Ms. Salima. She is cheerful, calm and patient in handling challenging situation around children. She is very nice and friendly to my older daughter who does not attend the school. Ms. Noshi is awesome too! My daughter
