We are a locally-owned community pharmacy dedicated to providing personalized service at an affordable price. Colonial Pharmacy is proud to be your source for all of your pharmaceutical needs. We offer a wide variety of services including conventional prescription filling, compounding, medical equipment, medicare open enrollment, medication therapy management and much more.
An estimated 50 percent or more of medications for chronic conditions, such as high cholesterol and diabetes, are not taken as prescribed. Medication non-adherence can lead to worsening health conditions, hospitalizations and death. Whatever the reason is for medication non-adherence, we have a solution for you.
Medication therapy management, otherwise known as MTM, is a term used for a program to help you manage your medications and health conditions. Do you want to know how best to take your medications to get the most from your medications?. Would you like to have a complete list of the medications you take for your personal use?.
When it comes to disease prevention, immunizations are key. Getting vaccinated protects you and those around you. Our main focus is to help you and your loved ones stay up-to-date on the recommended vaccines. We offer a variety of immunizations. Our highly qualified staff can easily administer these immunizations here at the pharmacy.
You may find that you have been prescribed a number of medications, and that you need to take them at different times of the day. It can be difficult to keep track of what medication you need to take and when. We offer a multi-dose packaging that bundles your medications together by date and time. For example, all your medications that are to be taken in the morning will be packaged together in one pack.

Deeply disappointed to see this far into the pandemic that staff are not wearing masks, especially when cases are astronomically high. The population who uses this pharmacy is vulnerable and at risk, and it is very troubling that the management is not requiring staff to wear masks in an establishment that provides medical advice and care (vaccines) via their pharmacy staff. If they can’t be bothered to do such a simple measure as mask up to protect their clients, I can only imagine what lackadaisical practices are happening within their pharmacy. Do better, New London. Save yourself the headache and use a different pharmacy. 95% of the time they don’t have the medication in stock, and then forget to order it and still don’t have it in stock. Also the scrips are never available on time when they are in stock. But the store is a way cute store to shop at and they have the jams playing. Front register staff and helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here at colonial as a customer. The service by the kids was nothing more than excellent and the place was spotless. Very clean. Very good customer service. The employee that stuck out to me the most was Andrew, he was stellar at his craft and and such a friendly face. The best employee by far, congratulations Andrew

I'm reading some of these reviews and I used colonial pharmacy for many years.when I read a majority of the negative reviews it's amazing to me.i personally have never had a problem at all here.from shopping here at the old location to the growing pains of a new location.my experiences have always been top notch. To see people write that the pharmacists are rude is something I've never experienced. And all the techs and counter folks are always knowledgeable and friendly.

Completely unacceptable customer service. I kept getting cut off by a front-end manager when trying to state my problems. He then forwarded me to another department before I could even finish my sentence. Some of the pharmacy and health care staff are uneducated when it comes to insurance and habe charged me $53 which I was not supposed to be charged. I keep getting the runaround from different pharmacists. One pharmacist tells me they will credit my account since I had insurance they somehow did not bill. Another pharmacist tells me they will "look into it" 3 days later. And another pharmacist

I love the eclectic and fun mix of products available at Colonial. The people who select the merchandise truly know what they are doing! I’ve enjoyed shopping for gifts and for a variety of items for myself. Having said this, the pharmacy and its staff leave A LOT to be desired. After my experience there today, I will not be going back. On more than one occasion, I have arrived and had my prescriptions not ready for pick-up. The first time this happened I was told the script hadn’t been received from my doctor; it turns out that it was sitting on the fax machine the entire time. PLEASE tell

Wonderful local pharmacy with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pharmacists always take the time to help customers and really go above and beyond with their service. Nothing like the impersonal and rushed service you would get at a chain store.
It is also a general store with anything you could need from gifts, home goods, cards, seasonal items, school/office supplies, baby supplies and more. Overall I would highly recommend Colonial and honestly wouldn't even bother with any other pharmacy in the area. This one is the best!

This is a very solid independent Pharmacy that has been in town for some years now. It is manned by knowledgeable staff, and the head pharmacists are very polite, and kindly, as they try to assist you through your problem or issue. They are often very knowledgeable on particular meds, and can give added information, as well as the casual or off hand advisement (that is, not to replace that of your doctor).
