Performax Physical Therapy and Wellness is skilled in rehabilitating orthopedic injuries sustained by competitive and recreational athletes. Through our series of sports-focused exercises, we are able to treat almost any injury from any practiced sport. We emphasize the importance of early injury recognition and treatment.
Concussion management is a very important and sensitive subject in the world of athletic training. Whether you are a coach, athlete, or parent of an athlete, there are specific recovery steps that need to be taken in order to ensure a full and safe recovery. Clearance from a licensed health care provider trained in evaluation and management of concussions is required for the athlete to return to athletic activity.
Rehabilitation is the most important process post-op. For most patients, the real work begins as soon as you leave the operating table. Physical therapy is crucial to recovery from orthopedic surgery, such as operations on the hip, knee, shoulder, wrist, hand, neck, foot, ankle and spine. Sometimes therapy will begin hours after an operation, and usually within the first few days, but either way, this is a critical time in the healing process.
Many senior citizens are prone to injuries due to fall accidents, decreased mobility, and overall deterioration of muscle. It's hard getting older, but it doesn't have to be painful. After two major back surgeries in two months I was finally given clearance for physical therapy. I had a few recommendations and personal knowledge of several therapy centers in my area. After visiting the locations I decided on Performax. Why? They stood head and shoulders above the rest. First of all the place was spotless, modern and the staff professional. A specific program was established for my condition and after a few months, I am showing remarkable progress thanks to Armand and his staff. Although I was nervous and apprehensive at the start, I was made to feel comfortable in no time.

I recently completed therapy at this location. I was very impressed with their commitment to cleanliness- masks are required and staff keeps everything nice and clean. The therapists are well trained, able to read X-rays and set a correct course of treatment. The entire staff is caring and friendly- calling you by name, knowing what you need and making sure you are progressing and feeling better. I worked mostly with Anthony who always kept me laughing but everyone there is super nice. I would highly recommend this place!

I found Performax on Instagram through a fitness trainer who is a patient of the office, very interested in the cupping and blading so I followed the page. A few months later I was referred by my doc for PT & wanted to try Performax out and it was the best decision I have ever made for my physical health!! The front desk and assistants are always pleasant, a great help and accommodate their patients the best they can which is always outstanding. The PT’s are all great & just after a few months I am feeling the best I’ve felt in almost 2 years!! The environment is fun, open & most importantly

Performax is hands down the best Physical Therapy place i’ve been to. They greet you from the time you walk through the door to when you’re getting worked on. They make sure you’re comfortable throughout your session. I’ve never felt this good physically before. So thank you to the staff there for helping me get back to my best physical condition.

I’ve experienced severe neck and should pain to the point where it hurt to just breathe, lower back aches and irritation around my knees! I’m beyond grateful for Armand. With his help I’ve been able to recover faster, remain pain free, gain mobility and force myself to stretch!

I have been going to Performax for almost 2 years now. All the therapists are always willing to help you and in an extremely professional manner. The team at Performax has made me a better runner with all the cupping, blading and taping. They will take as much time as you need during your appointment.I never feel rushed when I am there. I certainly would not be where I am today without all of their help and expertise. Very grateful for my Performax family....

My daughter is 11 has been going here 2 months. After a horrible experience at another place performax came highly recommended from people at my gym. Well I was not disappointed. From the friendly people over the phone when booking her first appointment to the amazing care she received from mike and Armand she is finally feeling better And I couldn’t be happier. Performax is simply the best. Their staff, both the front desk and physical therapists/trainers, are professional and friendly. My entire community loves coming here for rehab. I am currently training for a marathon and I have never been in better physical shape and I owe it to Armand, Jess, and their entire staff. They are absolutely the best place for PT! Almost 6 months ago I came home due to a shoulder injury at army basic training, I wasn’t to happy when I found out I had to do PT to be able to go back. Now, I could never be more thankful, not only am I healed but I feel stronger then I was before I left! Dave is awesome and has taken very good care of me, along with the rest of the staff! If your looking for top of the line care, Performax is definitely the place to go! I’m going to miss them when I go back to the army!
