We talk about using our skills responsibly every class. In 20+ years of teaching martial arts, AFK has never had a problem with children abusing their skills. Child psychologists tell us that the best way to develop positive self-esteem in kids is to have them in activities that work toward goals. And when they work hard and achieve those goals, they should be rewarded for that achievement.
Our style, SORYU means "The continuous and complete tradition of style." It is a Japanese form of martial arts and getting a Black Belt in Soryu will take you at least 5 years of very hard work. The exam alone takes about four hours requiring a year to prepare for it. However, once you have earned your Black Belt, you will know you can stand up with the best of them.
White Belt Package $169 This package is perfect for the family that enjoys planning & preparing their own parties but want to hold it outside of their home! This package includes: 1 Hour in the Party Room 30 Minutes of instruction on the mat with one of our Instructors 30 Minutes of. Private lessons are great for people who want to learn karate but cannot make regularly scheduled group classes.
