Founded in 1992, as a licensed home health care agency, Assisted Healthcare focused on meeting the in-home healthcare needs of our clients. Now named Assisted Transportation, our company has expanded into multiple states in the Midwest. As our company has grown, so too has our company family. Assisted Transportation operates a fleet of minivans, full-sized vans, and ADA accessible wheelchair vans to provide transportation solutions for local school districts. Our passengers include students with special needs, students covered under the McKinney-Vento Act, students living out of district and hard to serve trips.

I’m consistently late getting to school because the drivers never get to my house on time to pick me up. I typically have to wait 20-30 minutes past my pickup time for them to get me.
Update: this morning I waited 41 minutes past my pickup time and my driver didn’t even seem to care. This is my second day in a row being late to school. I’m not happy with the company.

I cannot say enough great things about this company! I regularly schedule trips for a disabled client - everyone I have encountered has been competent and extremely efficient - so easy to work with. And although I have not met any of the drivers, my client reports to me often how kind and gracious they are with her - it means more than you could ever know!!

Supervisor very rude . He should not be in charge of talking to people at all. For the past two days they haven't showed up to pick up my son for school ,the first time was because of their paperwork error and this morning the driver claimed to have been at my house honking the horn. Well unless they came at 545 a.m. we were all outside waiting at 5:50 a.m. till 6:30 a.m. I called to see what happened and was very upset because I have been late for work because of this issue I was crying on the phone and he was rude and said call the school we r not coming back and hung up on me. I called back
