Services
The Brothertons had worked previously for over 20 years combined at a funeral home in Charleston, Arkansas, which had recently been purchased by an insurance company in Hot Springs. Our completely re-modeled and brand new 250 seat chapel in Paris is now finished and open. The Brothertons feel that funeral homes should be owned and operated by local people, not a group of stock-holders.
We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. Please call us at (479) 965-8202 to make arrangements in person with a caring professional. With online Arrangements, you can take your time to select the arrangements which are best for your preferences and budget.
Staff members of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Homes are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Matt is a licensed Funeral Director, a member of First Baptist Church - Lavaca, and a Master Mason - Lodge #411.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.

While they tout multiple decades of compassionate experience this is one of the rudest & unprofessional companies I’ve had to deal with. I would recommend literally any other funeral service in the River Valley.

The man I met with was a very kind and considerate soul. Very professional and courteous.
