Some of the services offered here at Lawrence Street Healthcare Center include Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy. We also offer advanced wound care, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and skilled nursing services, 24-hours a day. Individualized plans of care, assistance with activities of daily living, podiatry, psychological services, and specialized memory care services are available.
Lawrence Street Health Care Center offers both short and long-term care for individuals suffering with heart disease, COPD, Diabetes, and other diagnoses and symptoms such as pain. We also offer short-term IV antibiotic therapy. Our skilled nursing facility provides the most appropriate professional care possible to those who are ill.
My dad has been a resident at Lawrence Street for almost 6 years. Although he's not the same as he was when we admitted him there, the staff has provided him excellent care over the years, as well as support for me and my sisters. The building is clean, smells good, the staff is extremely friendly, from the help to the administration.
Here at Lawrence Street Healthcare Center, we understand that caring for a loved one can be excruciatingly exhausting and frustrating when you have to do it all alone. Our respite care services are designed to give primary care-givers a break by providing planned or emergency care for individuals in need.

Used to work here. I slipped on a puddle of urine and hurt my knee. They never paid for the worker comp claim and sent me to collection. HSM-TX also covered up an assault charge against their employees.
Addendum to Original review: my employment was terminated due to Jane Davis (administrator) grabbing me and HSM-TX corporate covering it up. This was in 2017 so not that long ago. I will call Lawrence Street to ask for a written letter to show future employers I was forced out of the company due to the corporate malpractice against me not due to performance.

The Director of nursing and the head administrator are writing false reviews instead fixing the issues. Maybe if they used their time wisely by improving staffing and patient concern, instead of getting on Google on multiple occasions to write false and fake reviews. Stop the lies!!! Once a person steps foot in the facility they will see that all the positive comments are lies!!

This place is severly under staffed and unable to provide proper care for patients. Im sure they meet the bare min. of the guidelines but from my point of view its not enough...My first experience with this type of facility was very inlighting and if you care about your loved one be careful ❤ The nurses and attendants are overwhelmed. Several days after discharged and was unable to get prescriptions sent to the pharmacy correctly ,they sent prescription orders that aren't expected by the pharmacy. I begged for them to get it straight because my wife was without her meds for three days and going

Lawrence street is the warmest, most welcoming nursing home I have ever seen. The staff really work hard to meet patient's needs. Taking care of an aging population can be very challenging and I feel the staff at Lawrence street will go the extra mile to make you as comfortable as possible. The building really has a welcoming environment that makes you feel at home. The residents are happy and always smiling. Management is very attentive to your needs and respond quickly to any concerns. The physicians and their nurse practitioners are always available and make sure your health is looked after

I have nothing negative to say about this facility. They have been Covid free during this whole pandemic and are deficiency free for over a year. The new staff are so very friendly and are more than willing to help you with what ever your needs are. The building grounds are nice with a beautiful patio area for the residents and family to enjoy with lots of trees and flowers. Come by and see for yourself all the positive, new changes going on.... You won't be disappointed.....

I had the unfortunate task of finding my mother a nursing home during this terrible covid pandemic, I've never been able to tour Lawrence Street. I took a chance and admitted my mom due to the care she needs every day. The staff has been AMAZING! They go out of their way to help her FaceTime me and visit at her room window. Without their communication I would be lost. She seems happy and well cared for when I speak to her. I cannot wait to see her again, I'm just grateful I can rest easy right now.

Love Lawrence St, great staff, great residents, great doctors. The corporate DON, Patricia is spot on and the administrator definitely cares about the residents and staff. The dietary staff are amazing! They really shine and go the extra mile to make sure the residents get what they want. You know the food is good when you see staff eating there for lunch, even the receptionist and managers eat from the dining room with the residents.
