We are 35-2 bedroom 2 bath condominium apartments and we're located directly on the beach at the north end of Holmes Beach. We are among the last beachfront commercial rental properties at the north end of Anna Maria Island. Two blocks to the north and the beachfront properties are just about exclusively residential.
David "Fritz" Dahlquist manages Nautilus Vacation Rentals through his on-site rental office every day except Wednesday, and he is on duty when necessary on Sundays. Often a telephone conversation is the quickest way for you to have your questions answered, and Fritz is happy to talk with you any work day from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Services
The living rooms, dining rooms, kitchen and master bedroom face north and they also face neighboring residential properties, 2-one story buildings, one-2 story building, and one-3 story building, and we have in the landscaping 3 Cuban Laurel trees that provide a buffer from the neighboring houses. The second floor apartments have a sneak look to the beach, you'll need to walk out to your patio to see the water.
In our 12 beachfront apartments you'll enjoy unobstructed views of the beach and the water from the living room, dining room, the kitchen and the master bedroom and the patios. The ground floor apartments have just about the easiest access to the beach you'll find, about 20 feet of turf before you have your toes in the sand!

To begin, after booking our reservation there was zero communication from the manager/broker etc…we showed up not knowing anything and even after multiple calls and emails there was no response. We honestly went there thinking we’d have to find another place to stay. The only info we had was a verification email that contained our unit number.
We arrived about 10pm after many flight delays and we were unable to find the office as it’s not clearly marked. We went to our unit but it was locked with no note or keys. Luckily there was a unit close to us with the door open and a gentleman sitting

A perfect location- Holmes Beach hosts the most amazing beach and a short bike ride to charming town of Anna Maria or use the free trolley! Fritz is the kindest manager who makes you feel right at home. The units are comfortable and relaxing. We like that you are steps away from either the pool or the gulf- you can spend you days going back and forth. Many wonderful restaurants and our favorite is to enjoy a bottle of wine and our own condo kitchen. Can't wait to return.

The unit we rented had flickering lights and the sliding door to the patio was extremely difficult to open. While parking is provided, our spot was next to the public beach access and we were blocked daily by parked cars and golf carts or trash from the cans at the entrance. In addition, we were not told there would be a massive construction project on the beach during our visit that was in process 24 hours a day. We had to drive to get access to the ocean for half of our trip. The units was clean, grounds were nice but not worth the money.

Interior is that of a tacky/budget motel but it could have just been our room. Insulation is also bad because you can hear the people upstairs moving hence any of our family were unable to get any sleep. The fridge was also in major disrepair leaking all over our food and the room itself. Not worth the $400+ dollars per night, better nearby options for cheaper.

We have stayed here every summer since 1991. Beautiful beach and perfect condo space. Even in the hottest weather, we can sit inside and see the beach from our living room. Manager, Fritz, is always helpful and friendly. Another review wrote that $400 is too much. We have NEVER paid over $200 and change. But if it were $400, I'd pay it.
