James W. Thomas DDS, Inc is a family dental practice located in Oxford, OH which is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Bill and Becky Thomas. Our practice has been in continual existence since it was started by Bill's father, Jim Thomas in 1966. Bill and Becky came back to town after serving in the U.S. Navy dental corps for three years in 1997, and have ran the practice ever since.

From a routine exam and cleaning to full-mouth rehabilitation, our practice is equipped to handle all of your dental needs. When teeth are missing a series of changes that can impact your overall dental health and jaw function may be initiated. The adjacent teeth may start to drift or tilt into the space, and teeth in the opposing jaw may start to shift toward the area of the missing tooth.
Hobbies: Supporting my four children in all their sporting events(football, baseball, golf, and choir). I love spending time with my husband Max, and all my family and friends. I am very much a people person, and as an assistant I love to get to know our patients and their families. I love to make people feel good about themselves, and their appearance.

Both natural teeth and teeth with restorations survive best in an oral environment that is clean and where the intake of harmful foods is controlled. Our program is designed to help prevent new cavities, preserve teeth that have been restored and manage periodontal disease. At the initial visit, oral hygiene instructions are reviewed and are reinforced at subsequent recall visits.

Not only excellent care, but Dr. Thomas and every staff member are the friendliest and most personable of any office I’ve ever been to. I’ve had some urgent problems come up that have been dealt with at very short notice, and I’m sure at significant inconvenience to Dr. Thomas.

I have lived in various places in the US and had many dentists. Dr. Thomas is arguably the best one I encountered. He is patient, explains clearly the diagnosis and the procedure, takes into account pain/discomfort, and is very affable. The combination of great professional skills and integrity is not so common. I highly recommend him.
