Sanctuary is excited to announce the return of Lina Daou and her Yoga-Barre Fusion class! A mid-week morning class to get you moving and psyched for the last half of your week! And in a similar high vein -- at least insofar as it is classically a vigorous practice -- we are please to welcome Wade Woytal and his Tantric Kundalini Yoga offering to re-balance your energies Wednesday evenings at 5:30.

Sanctuary yoga is a wonderful venue for all levels of yoga practitioners, but I especially like that many are over 40 years old. Veronique and the other teachers tailor the proactive beautifully and mix in contemplative time to address the mind as well as well as the body. The practice can be very challenging, so make sure you are selecting the right class!

I attend both Yoga and Zen sitting sessions at Sanctuary. Some of the teachers are young and some have years of experience but all are of the highest quality. They are very knowledgeable and caring about the students. The proprietor, Véronique, in particular is a high energy feel-good instructor whose classes vary, depending on where she and the class are at, from killer core work to low key after work restoratives ... New teachers are often showing up to offer pranayama- (breath) or Ayurveda-centered teachings. There have been several great workshops too ... Restoratives and Partner Yoga. All

I go here several classes a week. All the teachers I've had are great ... I often attend those offered by Véronique, the proprietor. Her classes are somewhere between restorative and killer and you can always expect to be surprised but it's all lighthearted and super safe. The studio is lovely -- unassuming, well lit with natural light and clean. The off street free parking is a nice little luxury for someone who is often arriving right at class time!
