We offer a wide selection of braces to meet the individual needs and desires of each of our patients. From traditional metal braces, clear ceramic braces to clear aligners that can be worn to improve mild cases of misaligned teeth, we are confident we can help you achieve and maintain the beautiful, healthy smile you've always dreamed about!
Initially, the braces feel like they "stick out." This is normal. As you become accustomed to your braces and tooth alignment improves, this sensation will cease. Although the brackets have been rounded and smoothed, until the cheek tissues have "toughened, " you may find it helpful to use a salt rinse (dissolve a teaspoon of salt in 8 ounces of warm water and rinse your mouth vigorously 2 to 3 times a day).
Since every patient is unique and tooth development varies from one individual to another, there is not a specific age that is best to begin orthodontic treatment. However, when treatment is necessary, the timing is extremely important and greatly affects the results. The bite of the back teeth is established around age 7, when the first molars erupt.

Dr. Serff and his staff are friendly, organized and easy to work with. Dr. Serff worked on our 8-9-year-old son’s teeth from 0ctober 2017 to July 2018. He used braces to make space for our son’s adult teeth. We moved in July and have switched our son to a new orthodonrist. We are extrenely pleased with the work Dr. Serff did on our son’s teeth. Dr. Serff and his staff made getting braces on our son a wonderful experience.

Three of my five kids have had orthodontic work from Dr. Serff. Great guy and sweet staff...we often get there early and the kids walk in and quickly take care of business. There is rarely a wait. Staff is patient, even with all my "mom-moments" and forgotten appointments. :-) The results of his work are evident in my kids' smiles.
