David founded Dagar after a career in the shopping center industry in which he was involved in the leasing, development and management of both strip centers and enclosed malls. With over forty years experience in commercial real estate, he is responsible for overseeing all day to day activities of the company.

With an emphasis on building long term relationships, Dagar has amassed an impressive base of well-known clients, helping expand the company beyond its initial focus of shopping center leasing.
He began his career in the retail industry in the mid 1950's and had a vast knowledge of management and finance. From 1963 through 1985 he owned and operated a successful chain of stores before joining Dagar in 1990, a company founded by his son, David, in 1988. While at Dagar his responsibilities included overseeing all financial aspects of Dagar managed properties.
These properties include shopping centers, medical buildings and mixed use retail & office complexes. As the Exclusive Agent, Dagar is responsible for the marketing of the properties to potential tenants. All leasing assignments are accepted on an exclusive basis only, whereby the owner appoints Dagar as its sole representative, for the property.
