Alder Bay Assisted Living is part of the Ridgeline Management Company family. Some people know her as the guinea pig lady. She often brings them in for a visit. When Honu, Squeaky, Cinnamon, Sprinkles, and Speckles come to visit they always have a huge following. Cheryl is often teaching herself new things so she can engage and share her knowledge with the residents. Cheryl is currently teaching herself to knit and crochet.

I would like to recognize Alder Bay Assisted Living for its commitment to excellent care as provided to my mother and its other residents. My mother became a resident in 2014. In addition to the well-trained staff that does a great job looking after the residents’ well-being, Alder Bay also provides other services such as on-site med techs, transportation to and from medical visits, delicious healthy daily meals and even an on-site hair salon. The facility, situated within beautiful surroundings, is well taken care of and has lovely spacious rooms.

I would give it less than one star if I could ! I visit my aunt there who has dementia and I have to clean the toilet every time I go there there are piles of feces in her toilet ! Alder bay has gone way down in terms of care all the aides are expected to get their patients out of bed toileted dressed, and down to the dining room where they also have to do the serving so they aren't able to spend anytime with the people with dementia they sit there by themselves all day so if it was my loved one I would keep searching for a different assisted living until they get their stuff together

I would give Alder Bay less than one star if it were possible. This facility is corporate owned by an out of state company. The main staff changes often, the food is canned, fatty, and of poor quality.
We have had my mother fall in her room, she pushed her emergency button, with a response by the staff in 1.5-2 hours. Thank God she didn't have a stroke or heart attack or she would no longer be with us. I have been there when the facility's medical cart lock was broken for 3 days, thus clients had no meds.
Blame is rampant as well.
Please be aware of your choices.
