Rob is Owner and Administrator of Home Care Assistance of Anchorage and is a retired Alaskan public school teacher. He is also a Board Member for Challenge Alaska, an organization that provides recreational therapy for disabled Alaskans. He is a husband and father of three children, one of whom is severely disabled and needs twenty-four hour care.
Home Care Assistance caregivers are the core of the home care experience. They are carefully selected to deliver the highest quality of care and must demonstrate compassion, professionalism and dedication to elderly seniors. However, unless caregivers are highly trained and educated, compassion and commitment alone are not enough to deliver exceptional care.

I've been an employee of Home Care Assistance for about 2 & 1/2 years. This has been a very good and stable agency to work for. I have had fairly stable work for this entire time frame. What you give is what you get. If you do a good job and make yourself available and help out by pulling extra hours in times of emergency, they reward hard work and loyalty by ensuring you get your 40 hours a week, as best they can.
Management is supportive and available to assist when ever needed. Cheri, the supervisor, is available for any problem or complication that arises and I truly appreciate her support

I had the privilege to work for this company, and it was the best caregiving company to work for in Alaska! They are great to work with, care about the employees, and clients! Reilly, is extremely easy to work with and communicate with as a supervisor! They make sure the clients and staff are both comfortable with each other and the cares being provided. Home Care Assistance Alaska is the greatest caregiving agency in town! They have been so good to my mom and dad, Rob and Cheri have really bent over backwards to accommodate everything we have asked. And every care taker that has been sent to mom and dad's has been extremely polite and helpful. We are lucky to have them to take care of our family.

I had an interview on the 10th of December, I was hired and participated in orientation on the 12th. I have not worked at all. I made several calls to staff which were all answered with vague, uncertain, responses about when I would be able to start work. A woman named Cheri who works there began bringing up jobs outside of anchorage, saying that’s all they had for now for live-ins(even then she said she had more then enough PCAs to cover Wasilla and Eagle River)and began to promise me hourly work, etc. but the gentleman who interviewed me, Reilly, made a professional guarantee that I would NOT

Home Care Assistance is a one of a kind agency. These guys will bend over backwards to make sure we are well taken care of.
