At Ka Hale O Na Keiki it is our Vision that all preschool-aged children on the Hamakua Coast be offered a quality, Montessori-based preschool education regardless of family circumstances or economic ability to pay.Children who attend preschool enter kindergarten ready to learn. They later have better test scores in reading and math.

Our daughter started school at Ka Hale o Na Keiki at two years old. We were immediately impressed with how teachers provided a wide variety of daily learning activities intended to develop social/emotional, motor, functional,and academic skills. However, what I appreciated most is the time the teachers take to really know each student and… communicate with parents regarding daily progress. Interestingly enough, we just found our daughter's communication journal and she (who is now almost 11) loved reading about what the teachers wrote home about her each day. We are forever grateful for
