Fennig Plumbing and Heating is a family owned business 100+ years strong! Founded in 1913 when Charles Fennig, not wanting to "under take" his father's position, started his plumbing business in the basement of his father's shop: Fennig Funeral Home on 5th and Lincoln in Milwaukee. From 1915 to 1990 Fennig Plumbing was located on the corner of 13th and Lincoln on Milwaukee's southside.
The business was moved in 1990 to its present location on 68th and Mitchell in West Allis with a home office in New Berlin. Located right across from the old Briggs and Stratton factory, Fennig Plumbing is located near the Six Point development project and the West Allis Farmers Market.

Fennig Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning was founded in 1913 and continues today with 3rd generation owner Louie Fennig offering you a wide variety of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services. We can start from the ground up with your new home, an addition to your existing home, remodeling an outdated bathroom or simply dress things up with a new faucet, toilet and sink.
We are able to service your plumbing needs from replacing, repairing faucetry, leaking pipes and toilets, installing water heaters and garbage disposals to new home construction and additions. The Rheem Water Heater is our water heater of choice. Participating in their Pro-Club, we are able to extend the typical 6-year warranty on your heater to a full 8 years.
Replacing the old furnace in your central heating system with a new, more efficient model can offset volatile energy prices. Money aside, today's furnaces pollute less and boost comfort by producing heat more steadily than older furnaces. We are able to service most all furnaces types, but as a Rheem Team Top Contractor we will install a Rheem Furnace in your home or office.
Rheem offers a full line of energy efficient units. Again tested and true, Rheem is the air conditioning unit we choose over all. In the typical "split air conditioning system", refrigerant circulates between an indoor coil and a matching outdoor condenser with compressor. The refrigerant cools the air, dehumidifying it in the process; a blower circulates air through ducts throughout the house.
Mark Koebernik, owner, and his team have been involved with Fennig Plumbing & Heating for many years. Mark and his crew of have finish carpentry experience, from custom built homes, additions and fireplace mantels to intricate built-up mouldings, Classic Carpentry has done it all. We specialize in residential and commercial wiring and being family owned and operated we pride ourselves in customer service and satisfaction.

Louie Fennig replaced our old failing furnace & air conditioner back in 2005 one cold October day. Fast forward to Decembet 2021 and the furnace stopped working. One call to Fennig Heating and Louie was on his way to our house at 7pm! He accurately diagnosed the problem and got the furnace running with a little work-around. At 10am the next morning he called back to let us know that he had the replacement part in hand. An amazingly quick visit - and before noon we were back to 100%.
