SB tree started cutting my tree without consent at 8:30AM in the morning. My neighbor hired them with out discussion. When I confronted SB Tree, they would not stop. I called the SB Tree owner Chris and he did not return my call. Finally the workers stopped when we got angry and called the police. Chris later showed up and was completely defiant and argumentative. We let them know that they needed to co-ordinate with the property owners and lease holders before proceeding. Chris and his team do professional tree trimming work. I've used them many times to trim our trees and work with neighbors to trim their trees to best maintain our view. They are very good at thinning oaks and trimming even the most obscure shaped trees to look nice and attractive without hacking them back to look like stubs. No! Tree trimming is an art and they are great artists at what they do. Prices are fair and reasonable. Excellent response time and communication. Top notch service! Highly recommend and will use them again.

I called about an estimate, and Chris (the owner) was here same day to take a look. I got the necessary permits from the city, called Chris back, and scheduled an appointment a few days out. Crew was here promptly at 8am and remarkably had a 50 foot cedar completely removed and chipped by 9:30. Stump grinder showed up within a couple of hours, so all was taken care of same day. Crew was very professional, very fast, and did a good job cleaning up afterward. Price was also very reasonable. I could not give a higher recommendation.

Let me start by saying this, I Don't normally write reviews, but felt compelled to do so for Chris and the guys at SB Tree Care. I had 3 100' plus foot eucalyptus that needed to be removed in a tight area. These guys were professional, timely, organized and very fair priced. I would absolutely used them again and encourage anyone to reach out to them, you will be impressed and thankful you did.

rates and finished the work on time. We paid Chris in cash and everybody was happy. Last time his crew forgot a rather big pile of cut offs in a bushy section of our property. No big deal, just send them back to clean up. I contacted Chris repeatedly and he promised to take care of it. That never happened. Time to move on without SB Tree Care. We expect better from a professional company.

Responded quickly after normal business hours for a tree emergency. Charged 2,500 to cut large portion of one of my oaks that was starting to topple, putting my house at risk. Due to the urgency, they made time to show up first thing the next morning. Crew was in and out within 3hrs or so. Quick and fairly quiet. Brought straps for me to tether the tree later, for added security.
Price was high, but understandable. Didn't see face coverings.

My neighbor and I hired Chris and his team @ SB Tree Care to trim our overgrown oak tree. SB Tree Care stuck to their appointment, trimmed our tree in a professional and safe manner, and cleaned up after themselves when the job was finished.
Our oak tree actually looks like an oak tree again!

I found SB Tree Care to be excellent. Great price, on-time, and very professional service. I'm a contractor myself, and the first thing I noticed is the quality of their equipment. They showed up exactly when they said they would and the guys worked hard on my acre for a day and a half. I had them either trim or remove palms, oaks, peppers, pines, and hedges.
They cleaned up after themselves and left the place looking great. I'd use them again no question about it.

SB tree care is a professional company, however they severely pruned my neighbors oak trees reducing the canopy dramatically. The trees will now struggle to cover the exposed branches and trunks with suckers to prevent sun damage and dehydration. Removing all the lateral branches and leaving only the growth on the ends of the branches as they did will also make them vulnerable to wind damage. Pruning this heavily in spring will put the trees through excess stress in the hot summer months when they need the canopy to protect them. So called professionals really butchered my trees. They were supposed to trim 2 overgrown mulberry trees in the back yard and to make sure the trees are off the house. They cut the one third of the trees facing the house, but didn't even touch the other two thirds. Never will recommend or call them again, unless they come back and fix it. I will say the other trees they trimmed were fine. One star is generous.

We have used SB Tree Care on numerous occasions. They are always on time, dependable, and leave our lawn and trees well trimmed, clean and neat. Recently we had a huge palm tree in front of our home that was dropping tons of the orange fruit onto the sidewalk. I called Chris and they came the next day; the price was very reasonable and our lawn and sidewalk were immaculate. Two thumbs way up! Highly recommended.

SB Tree Care removed a massive yucca family tree, a juniper tree and completely covered our entire dirt backyard with wood chips; changing it from derelict appearing to attractive in a matter of hours.

SB Tree care is by far the best tree service in town!
We needed to have a dead tree taken out, and Chris and his team literally showed up right when we contacted him. They worked so fast, and they got that tree out of there in an instant.
I'm very happy with their prices and the whole crew was polite and professional.
