The worst office staff EVER.
Dr Markowitz is an excellent dentist but as a long time patient, I must say good bye to this horrible practice.
The office staff, namely a woman named Jody, make it unbearable to deal with. They hound you over your appointment, even after already confirming. They cal and call until it’s at a point of stalking. As if no one else has a job.
It’s a shame because Dr Markowitz is a great dentist. Do you know how bad office staff has to be in order to drive a patient of 5+ years away because of their office staff?

Please do not waste your money going to great Boca smiles. Dr. Markowitz is very egotistical very dismissive and will charge you an arm and a leg. He also will make you sign a form only guaranteeing his work for a year. His office manager is extremely rude and very arrogant. Great Boca smiles will charge you for work that your insurance company will cover. If you’re going to pay an arm and a leg for quality work please go to another dentist

Unethical Billing Practices and needless procedures , Please get a second opinion . When financial gain is placed before patient care . its a matter of time before it unravels. Any professional who undermines… the integrity of patient care should not be practicing . Question any bill or procedure , I am not the only one this has happened too. Please read other treads not under the censure of his website. Notify the ADA until these billing practices and misdiagnosed issues are addressed by the State attorneys office . You may label me crazy ..But I certainly am no one fool ..

Dr. Markowitz may or may not be a good dentist, but I will never find out. I felt he was condescending during the exam and border-line arrogant at the follow-up.
Also, upon return I had to wait at the reception quite a long time without explanation.
To sum it up: while some things and certain staff in his office are reasonably nice, the dentist's off-putting "bedside manner" was unacceptable.

I have traveled 1 Hr and 10 minutes to see wonderful Dr Markowitz in Boca!What a. terrific experience.The staff every one of them is sweet. helpful and professional.Dr. Markowitz has the lightess. hands,and wonderful bedside manners.The office has the latest most modern equipment,dental technician on the premises.I am one. happy patient who left without any pain.Don't mind traveling from Miami for my. Implants and bridgework.

Dr. Markowitz and all of his staff are absolutely wonderful. The office is professional, friendly and spotlessly clean. Everyone is always smiling. I am in the process of having my third dental implant with Dr. Markowitz. His techniques are excellent. I had no pain during or after the procedures and excellent results every time.

Absolutely could not have chosen a better place! I had an old cracked filling that got infected while in town for work. Not only did the wonderful staff squeeze me in, but I was able to see the get my X-rays, and see the dentist right away. My whole visit only took 30 minutes, sadly my tooth required a specialist but I was given the proper medication to tide me over till I could get in.
I received my prescriptions, referral, and a VERY affordable bill and was give the Dr.'s personal cell phone in case I needed him after hours.

Beware everyone, if you know anything about implants, look at my xray: DO NOT TRUST DR MARKOWITZ!! Crooked implants, bone loss, and he never acknowledged his responsibility. Three dentists have looked at his work and told me that they've never seen that in their whole career. Worst dentist in Florida. I'm so satisfied with the quality of excellence that I receive from Dr. Markowitz and his professional staff , I feel compelled to always write a review after service.
My gums haven't felt so good in YEARS.
As for my teeth , I just can't believe just how many people comment on how white and bright they are.
I've lived in Boca for 12 years and tried 4 other dentists and finally found Great Boca Smiles.
