Home Care Angels is an independently owned and operated non-medical home service agency that came to be out of the personal experience of our founder, Elizabeth Birch.

My experiences searching for in-home care for my parents inspired me to start my company. I opened Home Care Angels in August of 2005 and have never felt more at home. This industry has truly become my passion and in 2012 I became a Certified Senior Advisor. Having this certification has given me the opportunity to advise people who are seeking information on what options are available to the growing senior population.
At the heart of our organization are the true "angels" that provide loving care in the home. Our caregivers are knowledgeable, kind and trustworthy. They bring unparalleled compassion to their work and we provide them the tools and resources they need. The Home Care Angels have provided care for both my father and my father-in-law over the last few years. Their caregivers have been very good and reliable. They have been very flexible in handling our scheduling requests when there are changes to the schedule. The caregivers have been very attentive to both fathers’ needs.
The home office tracks the health status of both fathers and provides significant oversight of the on site caregivers. The office makes periodic visits to the fathers’ homes to monitor the care and the fathers’ health status on site.
Overall we have been very pleased

Home Care Angeles provided in home caregivers for my Uncle. All were professional, reliable and caring. They were especially attentive to his physical well being and communicated with me if anything was needed.
The office staff is always available and ready to assist when needed, providing quick communication and solutions.

The VA gave us the name of Home Care Angels agency to assist my dad. The VA was will to pay for 9 hours and we wanted 20 per week. It took a week and they set up an appointment, which got cancelled the night before. The worker could no longer help us. They called a week later to say its hard to find a worker for 3 hours a day 5 days a week that most of our care givers want full time. We haven't heard from them since. When I called today they felt when they said that its hard to find someone for 3 hours that meant they were done helping us. We would have been open to 4 hours less days it didn

The Home Care Angels of Des Plaines were awesome. Madz was my mother-in-law's full-time care giver for 2.5+ years and was so amazing. Janette was also with my mother-in-law on a part-time basis for over 1.5 years and she was amazing as well. We were so lucky to have Home Care Angels be there when we needed their help. Madz and Janette went above and beyond in their help and care with my mother-in-law and we will be forever grateful to them for their assistance. I recommend Home Care Angels to anyone who needs in-home help with a loved one or for themselves.
