Owner Julia Goker is the founder of Julia's Cottage. As a California Certified Physical Therapist, she brings her experience as a health care professional to your loved ones as their needs change. Her lifelong interest in helping patients restore their quality of life helped lead her to successfully establishing and personally managing her homes.
We take pride in providing the most personalized care possible, based on the individual's needs. While safety is a key priority, comfort and lifestyle are highly important to creating the overall quality of life. We provide a number of standard services, as well as individual care options upon request.
The House on Avocado is located in the beautiful Oceanside suburb of Fire Mountain. You'll find this home full of warmth, natural light, and personal touches. There is ample outdoor space for activities and relaxation, and we will design your loved one's room based on the furniture, possessions, and feel of their own home.
The House @ La Costa overlooks the fairways and greens of the Omni La Costa Golf Course. This newly renovated home will make anyone feel welcome with its spacious living, large windows, private decks and home cooked meals. Your senior's room can be decorated to feel as much like their own home. Truly, a house to make your own.

My mother-in-law spent the last weeks of her life at Julia's cottage under Hospice Care. As a retired Oncology and Hospice RN, I very much appreciated the loving care the staff each gave her. They would get her into clean clothes or a nightgown each morning and sit her up in a chair with the other residents. The staff made sure her pain was kept under control at all times. Julia was very considerate and notified my husband immediately via text of any changes in his mother's condition. We would highly recommend Julia's cottage and her caring staff members for your loved one.
