Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel was founded in 1953 by Allen J. Manning. He began working at Hall-Grant Mortuary in Pocatello until 1952 when he began construction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel. Allen was well liked and received by the community and served in various capacities including Bannock County Coroner from 1954 to 1958.
Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel is here to help you with all your funeral needs. Our facility has been newly remodeled and updated to serve you. Our spacious viewing room is set up to accommodate a high flow of traffic, our chapel the way it is now sits 115 people, but with the auxiliary rooms we can sit up to 175.
Take the Clark Street exit 69 and turn West (it will be a left turn if you were North bound or right turn if you were South bound) onto Clark Street and stay on Clark till you come to 12th Ave. Turn North (right) on 12th Ave. Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel will be on the East side of the street at the corner of 12th and Wyeth.
