Established in 1967 in the small community in Frenchton, WV, the facility is located in north central West Virginia in the heart of Appalachian hardwood forest. The continually expanding company moved to its present location in 1987. Our location offers great space for log and rail storage and good access to Interstate 79.

The business has an annual sales in excess of $4 million and is managed by Gerald and Kevin Arey, sons of the founder Ed Arey. The firm maintains a huge inventory of finished products enabling five to ten day turnaround on many customer orders.
Services
Ed Arey & Sons, Inc. is proud to offer a wide range of split rail and rustic split rail fencing products. Production exceeds several hundred trailer loads annually being shipped to destination points from Maine to Florida and as far west as California. We would like to welcome all customers of Loughs Lumbers / loughslumber.com.
The snake rail fence originated from hand-split logs used to construct fences. If you're looking for the historical and rustic look of Early America, then the snake rail fence is just right. Logs from traditional wood fencing were not tapered or sewn but cut with a log-splitting machine, giving them an authentic hand-split look.
