American Engineering Laboratories (AEL) specializes in the latest Ground Penetrating Radar (G.P.R) technology. G.P.R technology can be utilized to image both concrete slabs and walls, and can accurately locate metallic and non-metallic reinforcement and pipes in and below concrete slabs.

American Engineering Laboratories Inc. has inspectors of record who have the highest level of certification granted by the California Division of State Architect (DSA). They are fully qualified to provide inspections for large educational projects whether its k-12 or high education institutes. Maintain Inspector Job File of project during construction including plans, submittals, addenda, etc.
American Engineering Laboratories maintains a fully equipped soil and material testing facility. Our laboratory facilities are SBE, CALTRANS, AASHTO, ICBO/ICC, CCRL, DSA, OSHPD and Los Angeles City approved. All physical testing of soils and aggregates is performed in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, CCRL, or CALTRANS specifications.
