I am Bonnie Jackson, Founder CEO of North Star Academy. Ever since I can remember, I have loved being in the company of children. Born, and educated in the foothills of Southeastern Kentucky, the middle child of a family of 12, I was always surrounded by a house full of children. I learned to nurture, spoil, and teach them from the expert, I call my mother.
Nothing is more important than nurturing a love for learning and caring while at a young age. At North Star Academy in Lexington, Kentucky, we try to make learning as fun and interactive as possible. We provide a comprehensive preschool program as well as after-school activities to help foster your child's development.

My children 2 year old toddler and twin infants) attended there for several months until I decided to stay at home. This daycare is absolutely amazing, starting with a fabulous owner and manager who are caring and works well with the family, to the sweetest teachers. My daughter loved gong there and loved her young teacher. They are so good about giving great snacks and taking the kids to play. The ladies who care for the infants are fantastic! They notice every little thing and are so good with loving them. I was hesitant at first but I literally have never seen a better staff. Thank you all for
