Gerald always believed that service is the most important part of any business, and he began as a full service pharmacy, with everything from prescriptions to magazines, to cigars in his giant humidor. As times changed so did Ryan Pharmacy. The humidor was retired. New items could be found on display, like hospital beds, walkers, and wheelchairs.
For 50 years Ryan Pharmacy & Orthopedic Supply in Toledo, Ohio has been providing area residents with all their prescriptions and over the counter remedies. We carry generic and name brand prescription medications for you. In 1959 we began a full service pharmacy tradition that is still going strong for our customers today.

At Ryan Pharmacy & Orthopedic Supply in Toledo, we have an established Diabetic Shoppe located inside our Byrne Road store. The shop carries all the supplies those afflicted with diabetes need to help them cope with the disease. I needed crutches for my son and the pharmacist at rite aid recommended I go here and a few other places but I chose to come here. I walk in and the lady at the register greeted me and was very nice. She asked me what she could help me with and I told her I had a prescription for crutches. She directed me towards the back desk where a gentlemen was sitting. I approached the desk and told him I had a prescription for crutches and the lady at the front directed me back here. The guy sitting at the back desk was quite rude. I had never been there before, never had crutches before and I didn’t realize

Jake G was attentive, experienced and helpful with all our needs. We lack the knowledge needed to meet our orthopedic needs and he took his time to answer all our questions. He educated us with his knowledge of compression stockings, walkers and rollators on display. His helpful attitude helped us relax with difficult decisions! We will return to Ryan’s as we need items and supplies.

Ordered equipment for after my surgery, a week later & multiple phone calls & “I’m sorrys” I’m told they’ll get it to me in 4 more days! CXed my order from them & Amazon took care of it in 48 hours Vs Ryan’s Pharmacies 12 days! That’s what I get for trying to keep business locally. Lucky I gave 1star will NEVER do business with them again!

The mail order was fast. Got it two days after ordering out. Pricing wasn’t outrageous.
I gave it 2 stars because the man helping me was very rude on the phone. If I had been given multiple locations to purchase the medication I needed from, I would’ve hung up and called the competitor and paid a higher price.

I went to Ryan pharmacy today and it was an unpleasant experience. As I entered they were close to 10 people in the establishment and I was not acknowledged by anyone for several moments. There was a conversation going on and I stood and waited for the woman behind the counter to stop talking. At some point an older gentleman asked if I needed help. I explained that I needed a prescription filled for a nebulizer. They spoke amongst themselves and stated that they do fill those prescriptions.
