Dr. Thiery was born in Willmar, MN, where he graduated from high school. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Luther College in Decorah, IA. Following his graduation from the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry, he married his wife, Jenny, and moved to Alexandria's lakes area.

I often get calls from concerned parents who notice their child's lower permanent incisors are coming in behind the baby teeth, and what we should do about it? I will begin by saying these lower incisors are normally a child's first experience with losing teeth, getting new permanent teeth and a first visit from the tooth fairy usually around age 6.
